    This app is ad supported. However, the function of the app works perfectly. I had no problems configuring it. I actually prefer ad supported software anyway.

    Hey all! Maybe I just did something wrong when I downloaded this ‘app’ to my IMAC, but the instant I opened the app I started getting POPUPS ALL OVER my screen and SEVERAL odd looking pages trying to load at the same time. OKAY, I’m not a cumputer guy, but this was MY experience. Beware….

    When converting a pdf made in QuarkXpress, it drops all the text. I also randomly happens on PDFs made from other applications. I have tried using this on multiple pdfs always the same issue. So another worthless free app. ALSO it takes up 996.5 MB of space. (almost a gig) ALSO it puts out random ads. AND it does NOT seem to have an uninstaller, So it leaves random files including preferences etc in the system when you try to delete it.

    it apparently converts the PDF successfully, but then puts the conversion in a folder that you can’t find. Worthless. I spent way too much time on this already.

    I’ve used this app from time to time to do the simple job of converting multiple page PDFs into individual images. The app does this job competently, providing the options needed. I understand the developer’s need to advertise their paid features so I have not minded the somewhat intrusive upselling. The app with does what I want it to do for free. That being said, it is absolutely a waste of space! I see no reason why it should take up between 500MB and 1 GB of my HD space. By comparison, Apple’s own PDF viewer/editor Preview takes up less than 40 MB. Competing apps are often well under 100 MB. Why is this app 10-15 times bigger than it needs to be!? This simply encourages users to uninstall it in order to save limited disk space. Given this, I cannot recommend this app.

    This application claims it’s free and charges $2.00 for doing nothing other than putting your PDF to JPG. If you want to do anything else it will not work unless you pay more and they claim it’s because the app is free. I want my money back.

  • Partly deceptive about free, not very stable

    I am disapointed. This app presents a general instability that makes it difficult to use. It loads the PDF fine, then crashes at random. Another rather surprising thing is that it’s free alright, but after conversion (when it does not crash), it displays a dialog that has a big green button ‘Upgrade now’, but it displays an outside page where one has to pay with a credit card and get delivery not from Apple but from some unknown source. Would it not be much more proper to have the option to buy inside the app, along Apple guidelines ?

    It is a nice app, works well and turns multiple PDF files to JPG quickly, now I can read files on iPad, iMac, ect., instead of installing PDF reader. Very convenient!
