Be careful with Google Nest and these cameras— you will not always be notified of movement, even when the movement is in plain sight.

Nest used to be a good product until Google took it over if you’re trying to use it for cameras, it is not worth the money as it keeps buffering in the app doesn’t load all with their products. Nothing works together seamlessly it is not Apple for sure. I would not recommend to start my Camera or any smart home devices with Google. Their support is laughable if you plan on watching your cameras 24 seven live and never moving away then this is the app and camera set up for you.

Glitchy. Some of the things that I ask it are things that are readily available on the web yet it doesn't seem to be able to find them. Tonight I asked it what the temperature was it was 4° above every other weather source that I had. Which may not seem like a big deal but I don't understand where it's getting its information from when every other device is saying something different. Sometimes it works with my Apple Music but usually not. I ask it to play a song and it picks the most random bizarre version of the song that exists. Why not studio normal version? Sometimes it just disconnects for no good reason.

I use Google Home for one thing and one thing only, which is to control a Nest thermostat. It does not show the correct/current thermostat info (temp setting and current temperature) until you close and reopen the app to force it to reconnect. Big disappointment, D-

This provides nothing but frustration and support is poor with dead links and incomplete information. It’s four wires plus the. You have to buy a nest power connector for every thermostat at $25 each and this junk still does not work - yes, the wiring is correct. Trash
