Absolute garbage app. Covers games in ads outside of commercial breaks, no pause/rewind, just junk. Find a way to pirate games instead.

Frustratingly intermittent streaming. Signed up at beginning of the season and I have yet to be able to complete an entire Mariner game without it failing. Both iPhone app and appleTV app are not fully performant. Very basic with little to no support. Unfortunately this is not a viable solution and will need a lot of development. Not sure Root will have the resources for a modern livestream app that will meet cable expectations.

Monumental waste of money. If this was a free app/service, I would understand the clunkiness of this app. Trying to stream it to a tv? Forget about it. I would rather (and will) pay 5x for fubo.

So many issues. Lagging, error messages constantly, doesn’t auto adjust to full screen even when on tv mode? What a joke of an app and on top of having to pay $20 a month! This was clearly rushed to market and ROOT does not seem to care about making any updates for its CUSTOMERS. Such a joke

Like most others, I dumped cable long ago. I’d been paying for Fubo during the Mariners season, but that was a huge expense to just watch one channel, so this option was a welcome relief. While the app had some issues initially, it’s now working brilliantly. Kudos to the developers for continuously working to improve the showpiece! AirPlay works flawlessly and the streams are high quality. Ignore the early reviews - Root Sports is working great now.

Great streaming app however, it’s a little pricy.

I have been unable to watch any games on my iPhone for the last month. It says I’m not subscribed but on the same account I can watch on my PC no issues. I reached out to customer support and it’s been three weeks since I got an update. I’m cancelling my subscription today
