I see that the game got an updste and new endings on May 1 on Steam but there’s no information about when this update will come to iOS. I wish I had known that buying on steam grants new and quicker updates, I feel like I didn’t experience the ending because I chose the wrong platform :( I’ll update my review once the update gets released on ios because overall the game is amazing.
Bug: certain textures won't load

I haven't played very much yet, but I almost immediately noticed a bug in the school background where multiple facets which were completely black and had odd pixelly edges that clearly weren't intentional.
I like the first game, and that ran fine on my hardware (I have an old model) so hopefully the issue gets fixed.
Truly enjoyable!

Loved every minute of it, ended up going through it twice.
Incredible Potential, but Ultimately Glitchy

I loved every minute of this game. It is filled with mystery and chaos and even once you have finished it and the credits roll, you should play again because I promise there’s more to discover. With that said, it’s got a lot of glitches and lapses in logic within the gameplay. My best example is that you are able to tell one of the teachers about an injury another student has endured that she already knows about and she will run to the nurse as though she’s hearing about it for the first time.
An amazing follow up

Expelled! Is an amazing follow up to overboard from inkle. While there are a few bugs here and there I believe that Expelled! Has proven to be a great installment in the overboard franchise and is full of great twists and turns. And that Belgium girl, that very very untrustworthy Belgium girl.
Mysteries on top of mysteries

When you find a strategy to escape blame and perfectly execute your plan make it through the term, it’s so satisfying. But it’s also just the start!
There are so many secrets and hidden facets of the game to be discovered; going about my day I couldn’t stop thinking of loose ends I could pull and things I could do the next time I played.
There are so many ways to play Verity, and your choices really matter! Not just because they affect the way each run goes, but because they change who your Verity actually is, what she wants, and what she’s willing to do.
The way all your choices and rewinds are contextualized in the narrative is brilliant, and the structure of the game keeps prodding you to try different things and discover new interactions.
It takes all the complexity of Overboard! and makes it look like a prototype. I’ve never played anything like Expelled!

I was really looking forward to this because I loved Overboard, but this is unfortunately unplayable and now I’m out 5.99. It quits and I literally cannot play it. Might be a good game if I could play it but it’s totally broken.

Good if you liked Overboard

I bought this on the strength of 80 Days (probably my favorite iPhone game). But personally, I find it dull and repetitive. Very quickly the game becomes just guess-and-check, repeating the same steps but seeing what happens if you change one thing.
If you liked Overboard, you’ll love this. Personally, I did not, and hope they’ll do another 80 Days soon.
