I take a lot of photos and live close to the ocean, so I’ve tried a bunch of weather apps. This one’s been way more accurate than the others, especially with the new sunlight thing. Helps a lot when I’m trying to catch the right light.
  • Best Weather App

This is such a great app! My favorite feature is that it shows when the best lighting for photos will be. I can combine my two favorite hobbies; hiking with my dog and taking photos of my dog.
  • Reliable and good for outdoors

Living in Shaver Lake, it’s tough to find a weather app that actually works this far out, but ZoneWatch has been one of the few that consistently delivers. I’ve relied on it for a while, but today’s solar update finally pushed me to leave a review. I usually stack firewood or get work done outside early, so being able to see first light along with dew point makes a real difference. The snow and wind alerts have already proven their worth more than once this winter. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, and that matters most out here.
  • Not as good as I was hoping

Looks like they had all of the reviews removed. I will have to add my review again. I have given the app a try and can’t justify paying money for it. They are constantly saying “new updates coming” so it’s not worth paying full price for what seems to be a Beta version of the app. Not as good as I was hoping.

Am I missing something? The only feature that works is radar. What are we paying for exactly?

This is a great app and because it’s new to all of us there will, of course, be a learning curve. I ran into the same thing as another poster when on the screen where you choose the regions that you want to follow. Once the developer explained to me how that screen works it made perfect sense. The developers are already implementing tweaks here and there to have the app flow more smoothly. There are some great things on the horizon and I honestly feel this will be the best weather app available.
  • I’m getting absolutely nothing for my money here

I have tried multiple times to tell the app what zone I am in and it just sits there without accepting it. When I go to the forecast page, all it says is that there will be forecasted weather in the winter. I have no idea what I am paying for.
