  • Wish it was more intuitive

Even after marking that I take the pill continuously so I don’t have periods, it keeps saying my period is late. If it’s an option to adjust your pill intake, you’d think it would assume you don’t get periods anymore. And I already have it set to period tracking.

I used to like this app. And then all the adds to do in app purchases started. It is SO ANNOYING. To the point I’m going to delete this app after using it for YEARS.

Too may pop ups. After each input, it needs to be saved with the button, used to automatically save. Over the years, they’ve made it less and less intuitive. Every time the app is opened, or even interacting with basic things, constant pop ups. Honestly debating switching apps, as it’s not worth it to deal with these annoyances. I understand they need to make profits somehow, but these pop ups are more likely driving away customers.
  • This is the most comprehensive and trustworthy cycle tracker ever!

The interface is extremely easy to use and can be adapted to fit whatever it is that you’re looking to track [be it fertility, stress levels, oily skin/scalp, or sleep/social patterns because, all of this can effect your body’s natural cycle or be clues for yourself]. It’s not feminine coded and in fact is extremely gender neutral, which rules because healthcare should always be inclusive of all humans and has been since I’ve used it for the last decade. Love the in-depth analysis along with the articles that are shared of various scientific and reproductive healthcare topics written by actual experts in their fields. Such a huge fan of the company being lead by partitioners, clinicians, researchers, and so appreciate their transparency about only collecting data for ongoing research purposes and will never trust anyone else with such important info ever again.

I’ve had this app for years. It’s easy to use plus you can do cool things like add tags customizable to you! I think that’s pretty cool. You can learn new things about your cycle also. The app has a ton of categories to choose from when tracking your cycle. I value that because not everyone shares the same experiences while menstruating. Good job Clue 🫡
  • Paywall

I used to love this app. It’s super insightful in all of its modes and I especially appreciated the medical links in the conceive and pregnancy modes. Now- everything of value is hidden behind a paywall. Unless I pay a subscription fee, this app is no better than marking a calendar and doing a google search. It’s a real shame.

Every time I’ve gotten pregnant, I only ever needed to use Clue to track ovulation. Didn’t need to track temperature or anything. It’s simple and easy to use. I recommend it to all my friends who are trying to conceive.
  • Please add additional options in settings

App works well, but after being forced to update to the current build, as someone who is extra sensitive to info overload, I have to lower the score for all the extra banners added to the front page. They distract from the key information I’m looking for and are anywhere from bothersome to anxiety-increasing depending on the day and my mental state. Would love to see a setting added to turn off animations for the “How do you feel today” banner, as the animations are especially distracting, for a tool I don’t plan to use. Also options to permanently turn off the top banners for tracking things certain users have no need/desire to use (medication, pregnancy, etc.) rather than them being delayed by a few weeks/months would be greatly appreciated!
