This game is extremely pay to win. It’s constantly posting ads to convince you to pay for character upgrades (upgrades you need in order to progress) and these upgrades are usually character shards that are nearly impossible to get without spending money. I’ve spent at least 3+ hours a day since getting the app and still can’t compete despite being in my servers #1 ranked League. It could be more fun if they just added character shards to event rewards, but the event rewards are terrible instead and usually give you items you could’ve gotten from base game fights (even though you spend hours trying to prepare for these events). Long story short; if you don’t plan on spending literally $100+ on this game, it’s not really worth it right now. They need better rewards scaling then it’ll be better.

Can’t play the game

Idk what it is but absolutely no music voice or sound of any sort playing through the app. I’ve deleted and redownloaded several times now and no change

The game is really what I’ve said, plain. The designs stick to a defunct movie universe. The gameplay is good if you have no time to play, but it’s gets way too repetitive after a week. The animations are way too long and intrusive. Plus, those horrendous ads there are on the internet, even those AI “art” ads. Shame on all of you.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I thought I would for this. I’d been waiting on it since watching MobileGamer365 play it a long time ago. I downloaded this the day it came out. And wow… day one, it had everything! There is so much to do in this game, but - unlike many other games - it doesn’t feel like a chore. There’s three main aspects to this game - the campaign, the shelter, and the character collection - and they somehow managed to make each aspect enjoyable. Every other game I’ve played that has attempted this has failed, because one game mode clearly shined above the others. Not so in this. You need to try it, especially if you’ve been wanting more DC Comics content.

I enjoyed this game quite a bit when it was initially released. Now, though, it’s not playable. It sticks on the load screen and will not go further.

So for reference I’m a light spender, however I will now be F2P. Development team lacks clear roadmaps or communication to even its community leaders on Discord & that includes info on the characters that are only available for a 4 week period. They say “subject to change” but don’t communicate those said changes. I’m all for them releasing more characters, unless they make me wait an entire year for the schedule to land on Superman again. For context, players plan to skip certain characters ahead of time so they can save. The developers thought it would be funny to skip the previously released Hawkgirl & decided to release Nightwing. Even on Discord there was no news of this, and their website just leads you to discord for news or updates. (Makes no sense)
