For some reason, it says it’s for 10 years old but when I print my age, is it 18 is this false advertisement?

Avoid this game at all cost. It is a predatory pay to win game just like the others.

This is so disappointing. Almost the exact same type of gameplay as Whiteout Survival which I just played for a week. This game has no feel of the original Age of Empires. I waited forever for this to come out - crash and burn. What a bummer.

The developers of this game should be absolutely ashamed. It’s completely obvious that this is just a money grabber. It is absolutely NOTHING like any of the original Age of Empires games. I would give it zero stars if I could.

It’s fun and has a good story

There’s lots to like about this game.

This is nothing but a shameless reskinning of the mass-produced pay-to-win (likely AI-created) gambling fests in the Rise of Kingdoms “strategy” genre. There is no real strategy involved, the winners are those who pay the most to get the best leaders, and the game bears next to no resemblance to the Age of Empires PC games. If you like dumping ridiculous amounts of money into a gambling system, and/or competing against others who do so, this is the game for you. If not, don’t play this game.

I thought I’d try this after a recommendation. Well it started not bad, but to get anything good or be in the top 50 you have to pay. I didn’t mind small transactions but when I messed up on a transactions and only asked them to swap the item (not a refund) they refused. So I’m refusing to give them another dollar :) . Also, it’s nothing like old AoE games, it’s a build and conquer game with nothing unique sadly, very disappointed in the game and the support.

So many games exist that are clones of this one. All AoEM has going for it is its name and I really hoped this game was more like the RTS versions. To summarize this game; you build a kingdom by building structures, you level the structures up each time consuming more resources and real life time or you can use time boosts to speed that up marginally. Armies are auto battled and consist of troops that level up from tier 1 to 7. You have heroes that level up and determine size of army. You join an alliance and battle other alliances for control over land and leaderboards. You do many different activities for rewards. And in the end, micro transactions for that classic pay to win feel. If you have played others in the genre, this one will be more of the same with a shiny fresh coat of paint. In 6 months to a year, there will be new clones to play and this game will become a relic.

It’s a good game of time wasting
