    My journey with this app began with some challenges. The registration process requires users to provide a cell phone number, which initially raised privacy concerns for me. Following general security advice, I first tried using a virtual phone number, but the app rejected it. Reluctantly, I decided to use my personal number. After entering the verification code sent via text message, I encountered an error: "Error signing in with Apple. Your account has been disabled after an automatic review of your recent activities." My attempts to contact support went unanswered. Eventually, I managed to create an account using a different email address. Once I overcame these initial hurdles, I found the service to be exceptional. The app truly shines in its performance and features, particularly for business writing tasks. I'm consistently impressed by the high-quality content it produces for professional purposes. One standout feature is the nuanced control over the tone of voice in generated text, allowing for versatile and context-appropriate writing. I also appreciate the strong ethical standards of Claude. So while the sign-up process was frustrating and could be improved, the app's performance and capabilities make it a valuable tool.

  • No voice for blind users

    This is the only major AI chatbot which does not make it easy to hear the responses spoken out loud for blind users. It doesn’t behave nicely with VoiceOver TTS, it reads the top of the entire chat session instead of the most recent response. I already submitted feedback within the app. Anthropic I believe intentionally doesn’t want to allow any kind of easy TTS for visually impaired users because they’re paranoid that people will misuse AI voices to say bad stuff. But like I said it doesn’t even work properly with VoiceOver in terms of formatting. The only way to actually use Claude with VoiceOver is on a desktop Mac or PC, NOT on iOS. They do not care about accessibility for visually impaired users. Also the app cuts you off from chatting entirely after asking just a few questions over a relatively short time. Ironically Meta AI is more accessible to blind and visually impaired users with its unlimited voice chat!

    this is the first AI I’ve actually used and it’s freaky how good it is. So far Claude’s knowledge cut off is in April 2024 and I hope they update it soon.

  • Keeps logging out

    Keeps logging out and can’t login like normal with a username and password. Instead you have to click a link sent in email. Super frustrating. I don’t have that email on my phone. Unbelievably poor from anthropic here. Failing at step 0. Im literally using ChatGPT instead just because I’m done dealing with this

  • Love Claude but

    I really love using Claude as an assistant! Wow. Simplifying my business is an understatement. The only complaint is that I am on the Pro plan and you have to wait 5 hours after using so many chats. That is just a pain. I’m in the middle of a project and needed proposals analyzed. Now that I’m using AI, tasks that I’d complete on my own feel ridiculously long and arduous. 4 stars for all Claude can do. Minus one for the way waiting for 5 hours feels punitive.

    When asked various questions about Claude, and comparing itself to other AI services and paid plans, it just tells me blah blah and visit anthropic support
