(⚠️Minor spoilers ahead⚠️) Same as its predecessor, or Sire I should say, Shadows of New York was lackluster at best. For the $4.99 price point I guess I shouldn’t expect less, however I was hoping for more after I got to taste the *vitae* of Coteries of New York. It felt awesome to see previous characters in SoNY, and to even mention our previous protagonist (Clan Brujah was the best imo) from CoNY was something I was not expecting, but I welcomed it nonetheless. The games’ entire dialogue was superb. The characters, old and new were… a questionable change at best as if shadows of their past selves, for example Qadir, I can’t help but feel he’s gotten *soft* in terms of his mannerisms and the way his dialogue was conveyed, as if a *shadow* of his former self. Same goes for Kaiser.(Still can’t believe he let my homegirl Julia jump him like that) Overall, a solid 4.5 out of 5 in my book.
