Used to be wonderful for abundance, length, etc. but with the new update it is all locked behind a membership… won’t be sticking around anymore.
  • Not worthy of annual fees

The maps are far from accurate. And all of the data they are charging for is leached off the MNDNR lake finder. It is sad they went this route. Just us lakefinder.com like most of used before this bait and switch app came along.
  • Not very accurate.

Great app for reviewing lakes and looking for new spots. Not good for navigating as most of the lake maps are inaccurate when it comes to contours and structure. I don’t think it’s worth the price….yet
  • Not open for all of the Midwest

It’s only open for Minnesota and over so if your in one of the dakotas or over it’s not supported by the app rendering it useless until they hopefully add the rest of the Midwest on there

  • Probably the Best

Absolutely love this app. Love how intuitive and easy it is to navigate. By far the best app I’ve used to date. If I could have a couple wishes to the devs I’d say 1) having a way to put in requests for updating new local ponds or any lakes, ponds or rivers that aren’t currently on the map/app and having a way to update what species are in that area. That would be a GREAT addition. If there is a way to do that currently. I haven’t figured it out.
  • So many areas unsupported.

Just wish they would expand the area to more than just 3 states
  • New paywall for land info

I’ve enjoyed this app, but I am not a fan of the recent “update” that removed the land ownership data and requires a paywall. Warming to those with the app to not update it as the new version looks identical with just a new paywall added.
  • Has potential

This app has great potential, but for Michigan and the lack of surveys that our DNR does the app is worthless! If our DNR would step up and take care of our fisheries better, this app might be worth paying for…but as long as this app is dependent upon the Michigan DNR, it’s going to be half useless! it doesn’t even show me where I can find the DNR boat launches!
  • Missing a lot

I love the onX off-road app. This is not that, it misses a lot of good fishing spots but charges for a premium fishing app, but only gives you a tiny part of the fishing areas. It doesn’t give on shore fishing spots. I’m sure it will improve but it’s not worth the money.
