I was really excited to try this app since I just moved to Spain for the summer post grad and I feel that many people in my situation would be on this app. That being said, it’s a shame they charge such a high annual price to use this app, given than many of their users are living on a low budget. If anyone knows of a similar app that is cheaper/free, please let me know!

Decent app, they just need to add a feature where you can create groups for people going to the same festival, music festival, big travel event, etc.

One of the recent updates took away the country forum pages. That was one of the app's best features. I'll change my rating when it's back.

I would love this app if it ensured my safety while using it. My problem is that I don't feel comfortable meeting up with random men, especially ones who are like 10-20 years older than me. So I specifically state in my travel plans that I do not want any men joining, yet they still do. While I can remove them, they can still see all the messages related to my specific plan with just one click. Which is why there should be a feature gives everyone the ability to approve or disapprove of everyone joining their travel plans. Also I don’t think people should be able to make and join travel plans until they’re verified.

i downloaded tripbff and literally met my best friends. we ended up going to australia together and had the BEST time. before this, my friends were always stalling and never actually booking anything. i kept waiting and missing out on life. i had no one to go with and thought i’d never make it to australia. then i found this app. changed everything.

You have to subscribe and pay to find other solo travelers. Smh.

My niece got a hold of my phone and made an unauthorized purchase of this app on my phone. I did not even get to use this yet I’m responsible for the 55/year. Not worth it and not fair. If you have to make a decision, just choose Going Solo since that does require any money.

Met one of my best friends 2 years ago on this app. We now work for a foundation and travel the world documenting the foundations efforts in providing aid to communities around the world. Thanks trip bff! Yall are missing Eswatini on the country counter and have East timor/timor leste twice haha
