This should be a 5 star app. Compared to similar apps, the scripts and acting seems above par HOWEVER the episode watching to ad watching ratio is TERRIBLE. Most similar other apps allow you to watch 1 ad to get to watch 1 episode. However this app doesn’t have that feature. So either you pay the RIDICULOUS weekly fee ($20/week or $1040/year!!! Or $200 annually!!!) or you have to watch ads. Ads run anywhere from 1-2 minutes with a 15 second pause timer between ads. (Yes, some ads are actually MORE than 2 minutes!) all for just 5 bonus coins. Each episode costs 50 to 115(!!!) coins for about 1 minute of content. So, worst case, you have to watch 20 ads at up to 2 minutes per ad for 1 minute of content. In other words, if you spend 45 minutes using the app, about 1 minute will be watching an episode and 44 will be navigating, watching ads or just waiting to watch an ad. This is the WORST ratio of any app like this. To put this in perspective, episode 18 of ‘love you beyond six months’ is 54 seconds and 47 coins. Episode 20 was 115 coins for 131 seconds. This means you get 1.14 - 1.15 seconds of content per coin. If a two minute ad (followed by a 15 second wait time) earns you just five coins, then you are paying this app with 135 seconds or more of your time which equates to 27 seconds per coin. Calculating this out, this means that you will be spending approximately 23.5 seconds of ad watching in order to watch a second of content. If you assume that there are some inefficiencies in clicking between ads, in order to watch one hour of content, you will spend 24 hours watching ads!!!!!! Update: several apps like this have a bonus coin feature where you watch videos for 15 minutes and you get coins which come at the 5, 10 and 15 minute marks. With this app, the times don’t stack, so you have to watch the episode they chose for you (not your choice) for 5 + 10 + 15 = 30 minutes!!! (and if you don’t speak English and Chinese, be prepared to read a whole lot of subtitles!). So, unless you’re going to shell out $1040 per year for the weekly subscription or $200 for the annual, this app is a waste of your time. Note: a reasonable ratio would be 50/50 ads to content. If this app were at that ratio, it would be a 5 star app!

The stories are good but the point system is ridiculously high to get free chapters. I do not want to watch 12 ads to get one short chapter.

I love the movie app. It is so convenient and simple.

When I have purchased the weekly subscription it charged me more than advertised

The app states on Facebook that you can download and see free episodes of the shows but you must pay for everything.
