I was reading a book and wanted to finish, when J was done I cancelled it. I kept getting charged, I’ve been trying to cancel it since April 11, 2025. I did it in the app twice and screenshot it as a confirmation it was being reviewed. I’ve emailed them now twice. I should have done this thru Apple and not Paypal and it would’ve been easier to cancel under subscriptions, but I used PayPal and now I can’t stop the charges. Still working with PayPal to cancel

I got the app and agreed to pay 0.29 to read the end of the story but was then charged $14.99 for months. I denied my fraudulent subscription a day after getting the app and was never prompted or asked to sign up for any subscription but was still charged. PayPal didn’t help either.

They are charging me $14.99 A WEEK! I downloaded this app during a $0.29 trial special, read the one story that interested me then cancelled the subscription according to the Terms of Service because there is no other way in the app to cancel. I closed my account and deleted the app. To my surprise every week since I have been charged $14.99. I did not agree to the terms of this charge and of course there is no way to contact the development team. I hope they know they deserve every bad thing that happens to them.

Do not sign up for this app. The are charging me $14.99 a week with no way to cancel.

Please be aware that is a scam they claim the first week they’ll charge you 0.29 and they charge you 14.99 and then you can’t cancel the subscription.. be aware that is a SCAM

Once you figure out how to even do so, you have to REQUEST cancellation, which I did a week ago, and was informed my cancellation would not be processed until after the 30th. So I have just been charged $14.99 AGAIN for a dumb app where I read ONE good book in 2 days and have been charged a total of $45 without being able to cancel and without reading anymore books because they’re all trash!

i tried to cancel through my paypal account and i couldnt and i continue to be charged

This company is terrible! I cannot find a real website for them nor can I cancel my subscription in their app or online. It is not in my subscriptions on my phone’s settings so I cannot cancel it there either. This company is a rip off!! $24.99 a WEEK for a poorly written book??? Oh and they also will charge your other cards that you have not used if you have them in your digital wallet! Stop charging my cards and cancel my subscription!!!

Cannot cancel subscription….

I signed up to read this book I got caught into and wanted to finish the story, when I went to cancel subscription there is no option in the app and I was furious thinking it was going to be a problem, well my wife reads all the time and she taught me something, go to settings on your phone then under your name at the top click that, and there you are going to see a subscription tap and that’s where you can cancel your subscription and any other subscriptions you my have… I learned today 😊
