Description

Never worry about intolerances, allergies or other dietary restrictions again. You now know in seconds whether you can tolerate a product or not in any situation! No matter whether it's a product, recipe or whatever. "Perfect and unique app without unnecessary bells and whistles for people with histamine problems. The barcode scanner is great, works quickly and easily when shopping. The ability to scan ingredient lists is particularly noteworthy. Thank you very much" - Symera, App Review What can the InTolerApp do? The InTolerApp supports you with all your allergies & intolerances by allowing you to scan barcodes & ingredient lists directly with two practical scanners and immediately see the result / compatibility. After installation, simply select your intolerances, allergies and other dietary restrictions and get started right away. You can use the search function to quickly find or look up foods you can tolerate (e.g. fruit, vegetables or spices) or processed foods (e.g. Nutella). You can also give each food its own rating, which then flows directly into the results of the scanner. This means that the InTolerApp is always tailored to you. It is also possible to set products that are tolerable for you, but would be filtered out due to your filters, as tolerable and thus improve your diet step by step. This prevents you from slipping into malnutrition. Special grace period filters also offer you a perfect start after a new diagnosis. Which intolerances & allergies are supported? Basically almost everything is supported, if something is missing, just contact support! An excerpt: - Low FODMAP - Histamine intolerance - Lactose intolerance - Fructose intolerance - Gluten - Sorbitol intolerance - Xylitol intolerance - Mannitol intolerance - Milk allergy - AlphaGal - Pork - Cross allergies (e.g. to grasses or pollen) - Wheat, barley etc. - Soy - Glutamate - Oxalic acid - Sulphites - Nuts of all kinds - Flavor enhancers - sweeteners - all other important allergens Also filters for vegetarians, vegans and pescetarians. Many other filters and settings. If a list is missing, I will be happy to add it shortly. Who is behind the app? My name is Jonah and unfortunately I have been suffering from histamine intolerance for several years. For this reason, I developed the app for myself to make my everyday life easier, as there was no good app available before. In the meantime, after a successful histamine diet with a phase of restriction and build-up, I feel much better and I can eat almost anything again without having to worry about symptoms (you can find an explanation of how to do this in the app). When I uploaded the app to the App Store, the feedback was so positive and good that I got even more involved with it and delved deeper into the technical and nutritional aspects. The result is the InTolerApp version 2.0. If you have any questions or problems, you can contact me at any time by email at mail@intoler.app or by WhatsApp at +49 231 86443177. I look forward to your message! ------------------------------- The data for the barcode scanner comes from the OpenFoodFacts database (ODBL License). Thank you very much! First off it is so easy to use. I do think that when it comes to the ingredient scanner it’s best to use your camera function to take a picture, crop it down to just the ingredient portion of the label and submit it that way. The ingredient scanner will sometimes flag words like “nutrition” as nuts and flag it as an allergy if you have it listed as such. Customer service so far has been wonderful and they’re even adding stearic acid to the allergy option for those with alpha gal! Highly highly recommend!

I have Celiacs plus several other food intolerances. It’s very difficult to catch everything on the small, hard to read, and long labels. Tested this out on a couple of items I knew I had some issues with and the app caught those and I also discovered they had some other items I had missed!
  • Terrific app for detailed food intolerances and allergies!

This is the first app I have seen that is so comprehensive, and I am really impressed. The level of responsiveness to customers is amazing. When I suggested an addition, I had a reply in just minutes. This app provides more information in one place than I have ever seen. The cherry on top is that the lifetime subscription was free for a day on AppAdvice!
