I love this app except it strays away from conventional inbox navigation, which can be annoying. I am a software Designer and love trying new things, but always building off of tried and true ideas. Finding the balance is the hard part.
If the designers want to have a total hit, they would find a happy medium for the inbox layout that feels intuitive AND futuristic. I feel they have missed that make (even with the different versions/views). I would like to see all the new features they’ve created with a much more common layout.
Sometimes I feel it is overly simplistic and other times I am overwhelmed by the UI and flow. Personally, I haven’t found my flow with it but I continue to use it since it seems like the developers and designers are actively trying to make their platform better. Keep up the good work fellas!
Email Collaboration is good, other stuff needs work

Spark excels when I need my assistant to write emails, then I send them. No other email app does this well. What’s it called when one app works seamlessly across all your devices? Spark doesn’t do that. It’s always loading. The inbox on my phone is different than the one on my laptop and iPad.
EXCELLENT!!

IDK what else to say, it's great. The features are starting to get a bit bloated, and I wish that I could use placeholders that don't rely on AI. But otherwise, great features!
The most underrated email app out there

I have been using this app on all of my devices for about a year now. I am one of those rare cases where I have an iPad, MacBook, Mac mini, Mac Studio and still walk around with a Pixel android, because I prefer the operating system over iOS. Spark allows me to make sure im receiving the same email experience globally across all of my devices without missing a beat. Your spark account saves all of your email accounts to it, so if you’re logging in somewhere else for the first time, you just login to spark and all of your email accounts will appear. It has the ability to be seriously complex to handle all of the hyper-organized people like myself, or barebones simplistic. I would recommend spark to anyone!
The Features I Need

With multiple accounts, multiple businesses and an inbox zero attitude, Spark helps me to stay organized!

This version of spark feels rushed, and focused on the wrong things. The positive reviews are surprising to me.
No way to view unread emails in the inbox by default.
Horrible to look at visually - no clear separation of regular emails and groups. Very few customization options on the appearance.
Calendar invites no longer show your schedule around the meeting time, you have to open a separate tab to see what’s happening before/after the invite before accepting it - this is the worst sin.
Luckily there is a trial, and all signs point to me going back to the free classic version. Or finding an alternative solution yet again as classic seems to be orphaned now - can’t resize pasted images in the email composer still and I’m assuming they just don’t care.
At least the iOS app is still good.
Happy With It.

Almost as good as just using Gmail as far as folders, snoozing, and other helpful functionality goes. But, when that isn’t an option - or if one has multiple email addresses to manage from more than one email program, Spark is a wonderful.
