  • Doesn't work in Sonoma

    I really like this app—especially the ability to use my iPhone to scan books. But it won't run at all in macOS Sonoma. It beachballs and I have to force-quit it. I sent an email to support weeks ago, but no reply yet. Please update this app soon.

  • Take this product off the Apple Store

    Does not work with upgrades of Apple System. The developers do not respond to inquiries. Keeping program on the Apple Store at this point is not appropriate.

  • Now working with MacOS Ventura

    UPDATE: As other reviewerrs have posted, this app works with the latest version of Ventura. I am rating one star less because the developer has been mute for the duration of the app's disfunction. MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: Developer is not repsonding to support inquiries. This product should not be offered for sale. At the least, prospective buyers should be told it is not compatible with the current version of MacOS.

  • finally working again with Ventura 13.3.1

    GREAT app, but zero developer support. It stopped working with Ventura, now 5 months later it is working again with the release of Ventura 13.3.1. And the last app release was 2 years ago. It hangs on startup, and none of the workarounds (hold down Shift or Option at start) work for me. I had to copy the database to another Mac running an older version of macos to recover my data.

    This used to be such a great app, but it hasn't been updated for years. Now it always hangs after a few minutes, requiring a forced quit, and sometimes crashes—even sometimes requiring a restart (MacBook Pro 13" M1). Apparently it's been abandoned by its developers even though it's inexplicably still here for sale on the App Store. Avoid! Do not purchase!

    I have over 1,500 books scanned into Delicious Library. However, as soon as I updated to Ventura OS, Delicious Library stopped working. Now I cannot even download a file of all of my books. this is so disappointing. It tdoesn't seem like the app has been updated in over two years. I used to love this app.

    Quick! Get a backup of your library now (backing up to CSV is the most generic, but I think you don't get the author that way). "It appears that Will Shipley, who developed DL took a job at Apple." -- from a commenter on the Apple Support Community, January 2023 For Ventura: I deleted the old version and then downloaded the app from the App Store. I was also moving to a new Mac; my steps: (1) Run DL on old Mac and export to DL3 format, (2) Get the exported file onto the new machine, (3) Run DL on the new Mac and import the file. I did not have to re-purchase the app, but I'd copied over some DL-related Library files as well. It seems to be running (cross your fingers!)

  • Is not working with Ventura

    Ventura made Monster Delicious library 3.9.3 unusable, I just a get a spinning wheel of death for many basic functions in the app. Ventura is the first OSX that seems to have a lousy track of backward compatibility problems. I've sent tons of crash report and yet Ventura 13.0.1 came and didn't fix a thing in this app. from: FredericQC Author
