Plan works, if you don’t mind spending money to being treated like a child with AI content.

The lessons all have the feel of a bot. Sure, mindfulness works to help you lose weight, but the pseudo-pop psychology is annoying. Yes, it’s based on real research, but the way that it’s written to try to sound “conversational” dumbs down the concepts. And the voiceovers are horrific, to boot. How many times do I need to be told to heal my hunger, feel my feelings, etc. before I quit? Moreover, if you reach out to the coaches for help about it how bad the lessons are, first you have to go through and AI chat bot, to get to a so-called human… who sounds exactly the same as said bot. I doubt they even exist anymore. Will NOT renew my subscription when it expires in a few days.
Conflicting information

I’m willing to adjust my rating if I see improvement. It’s been disheartening because they give you a coach, care coordinators and a Dr. each seem to be so impersonal and conflicting information between message threads and the links they send. The “Dr.” I was given seems to have copy and pasted paragraphs of my “personal prescription plan”but when I ask
Questions their responses are in a different tune then their prior paragraphs. Leaving me with a few word answers.
It’s as if it’s a whole different person I’m
Talking to. I feel unsafe distributing my dosages now cause of the unclear information that I actually upped my dose when I should not have and gained some side affects that i could have prevented if messages were clear and i didn’t have to puzzle piece every message together from the different threads. Just bummed. This journey was supposed to be a beautiful new step in my health and i feel like they took my money and giving me the bare minimum. Since May (now July) I have lost 2 lbs…

I’m tired of having to reinstall the app. It loses its weight ins and logging capabilities since the beginning. Then i have to go and re allow for tracking movement. A pain in the butt.

Lost weight gained it back

This app helped me lose the weight I wanted to in the short time span I needed, but I gained it all back and then some, as the regiment was not sustainable for me; I ended up missing the yummy stuff too much. I liked the motivational messages and the format was good although computerized / AI voices are irritating.
A problem with the app is that if you don't have time to log all your food it won't allow you to skip that day in the average; it averages the calories for the week as being far less than what you ate so it appears you ate less calories than you actually did.
I found some alternative snacks that are lower in fat or higher in fiber through their food lists and I still eat them on occasion.

When you’re serious about losing the weight and shaping up, Noom can really work. Meal tracking is easier than other tracking programs I’ve used. It incorporates your exercise thru any wearables you may use, and adjusts calorie goals given your exercise. Offers daily lessons and support. Both AI coaches, real doctors (if you do the medication plan), and a twitter-like community of other users who help you along the journey. Especially through those plateaus.

Modern UI, subpar capabilities

Half as capable as other alternatives like MyFitnessPal yet at a staggering monthly price point. For the cost, does not deliver on basic features like portion customization, limited food lookup, activity fitness tracking integration with Garmin, etc. Clunky click though experience. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is someone’s nights and weekends app project.
