  • Ehhhhh

Unfortunately, the app is free but almost everything costs “beans”. It would be fine if I got more than 5 beans a day for logging in, but to put that into perspective, it would take 77 days of logging in to get just one “take”. It costs $8 to get enough beans to get one take and the subscription service doesn’t even give you access to unlimited takes. All in all, I doubt anyone has found anyone on this app. If you’re going to spend as much money as it would take to find someone, go to another app. Or a free one like OkCupid, Tinder, or Bumble.
  • Buy more to like someone

    By *melvik*
I have to buy more coffee beans to like something? That is really really really dumb. As soon as I saw that, I deleted the app.
  • Feels very generic.

    By NobuxD
Almost every listed individual feels automatically generated. 95% of the women listed for some reason is looking for a “follower of Jesus Christ.” I’ve got nothing against religion, but the consistency of the individuals description does not seem real. Paid for sub and definitely not living up to satisfactory results.
  • Great app!

Met lots of good candidates on the app, but most of all I met my partner who has been nothing but wonderful to me. I honestly feel like the luckiest person in the universe and I’m grateful I gave this app a try. I hope you all find what you’re looking for.
  • It’s dope

    It’s the best dating app
  • Terrible

    By Jeff3759944
This app is just terrible. I’ll get matches on other apps no problem, but on CMB I’ve never gotten a single match in the couple of months I’ve had a profile. I even started swiping yes to everyone just to see if my profile is bugged. Still no matches. App needs a lot of work and bug fixes. Avoid until they fix it
  • Met my zaddy

Thank you Coffee Meets Bagel. It’s bitter sweet because I think it is a fantastic app to meet high quality people.. the app is so thorough and works well especially for dating in new York. Now that I’ve found someone on your app.. I no longer need it! Thank you!
  • Not a fun time

    By Chantwizzle
The app didn’t help make getting matches easier and then they also have scammers on there so I would advise to stay away or be cautious while using this app.
  • Not good

This is by far my least fav of all my dating apps. I feel restricted when I use it. Other apps I can swipe and see more people. You can’t do that with Coffee Meets Bagel.
  • Intrusive, should definitely sue over violating user privacy

    By Yuyk84736
I found CMB is very intrusive and do not respect user privacy. They will use a lot of your chat histories and profile information for purposes that you do not know. Please be aware. Terrible and are just going downhill as everybody else said. In addition, they want everyone to have a profile to the smallest details(maybe your home address too) otherwise they will lock you out of the account forever and flag you as a scammer. Who do they think they are?? Are you just collecting user data for unnecessary purposes?? It’s online dating, users get to decide how they portray themselves, who they want to connect with; if others do not feel okay, they can feel free to not talk to this user. Not to mention sometimes more sensitive individuals want to protect themselves with information sharing with strangers. People are very different, come from different cultural backgrounds, and have different security or comfort levels when it comes to sharing their information and lives with strangers. Why is CMB so manipulative and gets heavily involved in users personal freedom of speech!? And almost forces people to do things they do not want in dating, otherwise you are a scammer??!! Users should definitely sue them for violating user privacy!
