DVO is devoted to helping you discover the deepest, truest sense of God in your life, so that you can find the deepest, truest sense of yourself. "Easy to use and realistic. I love it" - Dale Partridge, Founder of Startup Camp and Sevenly.org "DVO is my go-to app for setting, resetting, and maintaining a focus on what really matters." - VTmary (5 stars) "This app is just better than a devotional. It's like breath and life into words." - Youbooer (5 stars) "This app helps, heals, encourages, motivates, comforts and blesses me in countless ways. I highly recommend it to anyone." - PrincessTeal (5 stars) "This app is both worth every penny I pay for and I am not disappointed. Reading scripture is always uplifting." - Omadar (5 stars) The daily devotions dig deep into our sacred and ancient texts, they avoid cliché and sit with ambiguity, all while nurturing your curiosity and wonder. I’ve never written a review for any app until today. I have been consistently using DVO for the last four years and I absolutely love it! I love the images, verses, motivational sayings and everything it does behind the scenes. It does so much more than what people realize! One of my favorite features is the Daily Reminder so you never miss a dvo. Check it out. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Thank You DVO! Keep up the great work! ❤️

Bought this app hoping to be able to connect to Instagram. I Have to download image directly to photo library. No option to choose Instagram in the share and by pass saving all these images to my phone.

I first came across DVO after going through a particularly bad breakup and I needed something to help restore my faith in pretty much everything. I appreciate the personal nature of DVO, I didn’t grow up going to church but having the author talk about her personal struggles as well as scripture adds a human connection that I can empathize with. I always feel like there’s something I can apply directly to my daily life and I’ve made DVO a part of my morning routine.

Over the past month, the app has opened 1 in 10 times. I’ve deleted and re-loaded the app at least once a day. Tried the “App Support” icon in the App Store listing and was sent to the developers website. Tried logging in and apparently had forgotten my password. Asked to reset the password and never received the email that I was told would be sent. Very questionable support for an app I pay for and get to use every tenth time I open it. I have cancelled my subscription.

I have been using the DVO app for over 7 years since I’ve been back in NYC. I’ve used the app on many occasions to share with friends and strangers. I’ve found that on some days and weeks, the message speaks directly to me. However, lately there has been a change and it has felt less prophetic and biblical and more a bit systematic. As a user for over 7 years, I’m aware that it could just be me. But from reading the other reviews, I’ve been thinking maybe not. I encourage the writers to continue to write because you are helping many people around the world. If possible, dig deeper. Don’t worry about being controversial and being more like Jesus when it comes to your beliefs. Truth is... I’ve been in church since I was born. I’ve been a christian since I was 9 years old. Now I am 40, gay and black. I don’t quite “belong” in any church because of my sexual orientation and color. But that has and will never stop me from belonging to Jesus. That’s why I’ve continued to subscribe to this app, because it’s rich in Jesus. So, be encouraged and go as deep as JESUS goes into your writings. Blessings on Blessings!

Good read but for those who have little time to stop and read or for those with poor site would an audio version be available. Like it otherwise.

So I have subscribed for years, but recently this app makes me sign in every day. How annoying is that?!? The content goes through highs and lows just like our lives, so I don’t mind it and generally I can relate. BUT this sign out thing..... it’s annoying as heck!

Paying for anything “church” is at first strange. but God created life and if it is because of Him that all life and jobs exist and that we should be able to connect with him through it all then shouldn’t we be paying for any jobs? Or anything? If this were a memoir from a president or your favorite celebrity you wouldn’t question payment at all. It’s a tough topic but sometimes people actually work hard in what they do and they find themselves working hard within the church and some positions deserve compensation. These one stars seem kind of “casting-the-first-stone”-ish haha. So, yes. As many as the reviews have said, the devotional content seemed to have changed from something really beautiful to something unrelatable to all but I definitely feel that they have seen the comments and that they are back on track now and I now can start recommending this back to people. 1 Star for user friendliness 1 Stars for meaningful devotions 1 Star for the apps beauty 1 Star that it actually works 1 Star for reasonable pricing
