Ever since the APP did a recent update last week (week of 3/18/24) we have been unable to access our business. I am being told this affects all iOS users. When will this app be fixed as it affects are daily business
  • Stop “fixing” it

This is now the third or fourth iteration of this stupid update. They’ve tried “fixing” this app several times, and every time they have ended up reverting back to the old setup. I much prefer the old setup, and I don’t think I’m in the minority on this subject. It may look nicer, but it’s slower and takes longer to do invoices. I do all of my transactions by phone, so using the browser version is a nightmare. The app is so much more convenient…when it works. I’m also tired of it “loading my data” every other time I open the app. The new invoice layout wastes a lot more ink with the wide color background/banner for the “bill to” and “invoice details” section, and you need a magnifying glass to see the text. Add an option on the app to choose the invoice layout, because changing it on the browser does nothing for the app. Also, if I want to add an item to the invoice, I can only search by “item”. I have over 300 products with 300 different item numbers. You use to be able to search by “item” OR “description”. Add the option to search by both again. If they fix these two problems, or just go back to the old app setup, I would change my review to 5 stars.

I really like the old version of Quick books. This version is harder to navigate. I have a adjusted and I’m getting comfortable with it but there are a few suggestions I would really like you guys to fix 1. You can’t see the due date when a deposit has been made. This make it harder for me to keep track of customers orders. I’m a delivery company and I have to waste time looking for the dates after a deposit has been made. 2. You can’t make changing to order once a deposit has been made in the new version. Again this causes wasted time to make a new invoice instead of just adjusting the old one.

100% false advertising - even after a month paid subscription, you cannot get an annual subscription as indicated. Direct quote from Apple: “I just wanted to let you know that the engineers said we have no way of offering a different subscription level other than what is listed in the settings as that part is controlled by the app developer (Intuit). They are also responsible for what that advertise in the App Store as well.” Because Intuit is such a large company, it is impossible to reach anyone who will acknowledge they are stealing from customers. They will say it is Apple’s fault - but Apple actually had their engineers look into this. Intuit will talk you in circles. Looks like I’ll be contacting the FTC.

The new update to the app made the app actually usable to manage invoices in the go. It’s actually easier to use now than my desktop. I love it!

It’s basically digital torture. This program promises so much and just when you think it’s got it something F’s up. And she might as well be doing it all by hand with out the torture. You have to pay for it as subscription AND if you want support, you’ll have to pay extra for that. I speak for my wife when I say it’s been years and years of hate she and I have for you. Do something right, we have stuck it out with you in hopes that you can turn this around and help us redeem all we’ve been paying for.

The dashboard and accounting is great. But, the app is riddled with bugs. Might just be the app isn’t optimized for iPhone 15 Pro MAX yet. App requires me to sign in every time I open the app after it registers my faceid. GPS tracking at the top of the screen while outside of the app will not go away even if I shut down the app or restart my phone. Clients unable to pay through invoices sent by email. Can only pay if I copy the invoice link and send via iMessage. Other issues as well. I’m hopeful the app will be fixed or I might have to find a new bookkeeping alternative. It’s just that annoying.
  • Get rid of the bugs, please!

Changing estimates to invoices on a mobile device usually doesn’t work. Have to mark a estimate as accepted is a must to even make and invoice which makes no sense. If you make any mistakes in payroll it is an extreme hassle to get fixed . Honestly if there was another app that did all the functions QuickBooks does I would definitely be trying them. All of these new updates I feel like have made it worse I like the old versions better
