Watch app can’t log in now that I’m using faceid on my phone
The watch app was always prone to failure if the phone app hadn’t logged in for a while (days). Now that I’ve enabled the phone app to sign me in with faceid the watch app can’t sign in at all.
Yes, I have tried turning it off and back on again.

The worst home security system I’ve ever owned . Equipment is terrible . Service is even worse . The people that install don’t have a clue what they are doing . One guy left the job without telling us . He got frustrated because he didn’t know what he was doing . Left all the equipment scattered around my house said he will be right back he needed to run to his van and left and never came back . Had to wait another 2 weeks for them to finish . And the guy that walked off the job showed up . I’m not one to leave bad reviews but don’t be a fool like I was . You’ve been warned .
Fix notifications please
Recently the app no longer sends notifications to your number. AT&T insists notifications must be sent by push notifications. It never works. We called and they said it is a problem with the iPhone and they aren’t responsible. The iPhone has come out with multiple updates since then and the Digital Life app has not. They are blaming Apple for an issue with their app.
Entirely unreliable and scammy
Had DL for 4 years. Hardware keeps disconnecting and the interface to fix it is very unreliable and slow.
Siren kept not working, keypad keeps emitting cryptic warnings.
Every time I asked for a technician I was asked for a $90 fee.
Finally when I cancelled at the beginning of a month, I was told I’ll keep the service until the month ends because I have paid for it anyway (which was necessary because it allowed me to switch providers safely)
However, the apps actually stopped logging me in immediately. Left me high and try.
Digital Life ... What a mistake!!!!
Paying bill with app is a nightmare! Monitoring faulty.

App has improved but paying monthly bill thru app has not. I have to try multiple times to pay my bill each month. Each time it gives me an error. If i call att to pay my bill on phone, then attt charges $5 fee. What a joke! If the app rarely does accept payment by chance, it doesn't give you confirmation number In the app. Many a time i have been charge late fee because of this faulty app, as it says credit card charged but in reality it didn't.
The other issue is of monitoring. I used to get phone calls when someone triggered the alarm but not now. I wonder if anyone now monitors the alarm. Yet att charges monthly fee for monitoring. Att is probably asking for class action lawsuit with this careless behavior!!

Just switched over this weekend, and I regret it. The keypad tablet is horrible, and at times unresponsive. The app, is terrible you can't get the cameras to pull up correctly.

I got this system in 2015. At the time this was the best company to offer automation with video, keyless entry, lighting, and all the newest security features. Through the many app updates and competitors in the marketplace this system is obsolete now. However the cost is the same $70 a month.
The app DOES NOT WORK anymore. We no longer receive text notifications which was a feature I really loved. It would text you when the camera caught movement on your property. (Notifications stopped working last year)
The video footage only captures quick movement so your video footage will only be a few seconds at a time unless you manually launch the recording. (This was an issue from day one) I used to log in to check the feed when I got notifications until they got rid of that feature.
Last week our door lock stopped working. I was on the phone with customer service for an hour trouble shooting and nothing helped. Just before the tech arrived 3 days later (We could not use that door for 3 days) it started working again. I’m waiting for the next time it just stops working without notice.
Animals will trigger the alarm (has always been an issue)
SUGGESTION: Take a look at the Google Nest alarm suite. It’s $30 a month instead of $70 and you get the same features but with newer technology. The cameras have facial recognition, live video with 10 days of fully recorded 24-7 feeds, the motion sensors can recognize animals, and the ring doorbell has video footage and allows you to speak through your phone to the ring door bell from anywhere.
BENEFITS: At&t has promotions that will remove the cost of the equipment however the monthly fee is the highest in the industry. The Google Nest has about a $3000 cost to get the equipment but has between $5-$30 monthly service fee depending on the equipment you buy.

After all these years...
I just hope and pray the actual alarm system, if needed, would work vastly better than the lousy app which you can never ever count on.

Very inconsistent in messages. I receive at times recently sent notifications and then receive notifications afterwards that I should have received before. Sometimes it could be hours before I receive notifications. All network devices have tested good for receiving and sending data. Not impressed.
