    The unfortunate reality is that this app no longer works after its recent update. I’ve been trying to load into the game for the last 34 minutes straight and it refuses to load on both WiFi and cellular. Over 1000 mbps on WiFi and a 5g connection on wireless. I used to love this game, and I wish they’d bring it back. But it doesn’t work. The app services and functions appear to be shut off by the creator of the game. It’s so sad.

    I’ve been on and off with this game mainly because of time and transportation but nonetheless the experience thus far is still pretty cool. My hopes are that later on in the future community growth and innovative events come more often and invite more people to come and try it out. I FINALLY BOUGHT MYSELF A BIKE! So I finally get the move on my own!

    Two bars of reception with cellular data toggled on isn’t always enough to be able to play. Communities exist in some parts of the country which can make strategy a part of game play, it’s not the most fun solo game. I’ve moved several times but now live in an area where the opposite team is dominant, so no one on my side bothers to try. Which means I just level until I move again I guess.

    I don’t know why you did away with XM and increased the decaying of portals. I have to use soooo many cubes just to keep redos going. There is XM when you are driving around but it is very WEAK!! To fill up a tank to recharge makes me have to drive around so much. I don’t get the cubes to keep things going. We refuse to buy if that is the plan. Hyper cubes don’t last at all. There is a group of us that are basically stopping the play and fielding part. It’s not worth it!

    I have played this game pretty much everyday since the first year it was released. A week ago I went to open the app to play and I received an error message. “ Unable to sign in. Please check that this Pokémon GO account exists and you have correctly selected New or Returning Player.” Having never seen this error before I went to the internet to find its meaning. From what I read I had feared that my account had been deleted or hacked. I reached out to Niantic Customer Service and they said I was logging in incorrectly and to try through another login. I further explained and they said they were unable to assist me. After a weeks long back and forth Niantic will not answer any of my questions and prefer not to help a loyal customer and just send emails as follows: “ Just to reiterate, we cannot help with your request to recover your Pokémon GO account. You are welcome to play from a new account.” I am giving it one last shot but I can’t just start over. My advice to those still playing the game, unlink you Trainer Club login and hope you never have to get help from the support staff.

  • Cheaters + Stalkers + Social Engineering

    I’ve played Ingress for years now and have always loved it until now. There are so many cheaters who are obviously spoofing their locations by rapidly creating links/fields while you watch them destroy your hard work in a different location live. You end up losing a lot of money (Pay-to-play) to cheating. I think the developers actually prefer this. You know what, that’s fine you can always keep reporting until (at least) it stops for a few days. What is making me delete this game is that these high-level players stalk you all the way to your home. For real. They don’t attack any of your other portals/fields and go straight to your home (I live in city area with a portal next to my home). And then they just destroy that one portal and make their presence known by building at only that one portal next to your home. I don’t feel safe playing this game any more. Parents, be wary for your children. You hear stories of players stalking and attacking other players all over forums online. This is not worth playing the game. I fear for my safety. I will no longer be supporting this developer. And I recommend others to be careful as well and make your voice known that this type of behavior is illegal and not tolerated. #deleteIngress ALMOST FORGOT… there’s Social Engineers on this game too. They will pretend to be your friend and try to sign up for a local group on a website outside of Ingress to play with others. They’re just trying to get your passwords. BE WARY
