  • AI voice is bad

Hate that they started using AI voices for narrations
  • Great content. Frustrating app

Scrolling is unpleasant. If you go up even slightly you throw off the page by triggering the top menu to reappear. DO NOT move the text when triggering the top menu. Simply cover the existing text. Your current method is jarring and unpleasant. Please fix the return to reading experience. The app should *always* return me to exactly where I left off. And you waste my time by forcing the FA logo into my face while I wait for my position to return upon returning to the app. (That is, it it returns to my last position). Force your employees to actually *use* this app. It’s a subpar and unpleasant experience. For those who read, you’re better off waiting for the magazine to show up in the mail.

Good app, but would love a 1.2 audio speed option.

The articles are international standards and creative in presentation. The magazine merits and deserves continuous support.
  • Too biased, largely only represents liberal views

I want to like this magazine but it skews too left and rarely presents balanced viewpoints
  • “Go to” for analysis of world affairs

I am a retired Pediatrician why am I reading Foreign Affairs? Perhaps as policy impacts women and children ultimately. Having a worldview based on selections in FA, whether reading or podcasts I gain a sense of issues in realtime not only what is happening, but why it is happening. I appreciate the presentation of counterpoints of view on issues.
  • Nearly perfect for what you need.

The only suggestion which would make this a 5-star review would be the ability to open articles in the app directly from emails and newsletters. Such as YouTube, when opening a YT link in a browser, it suggests via a button at the top of the screen to view it natively in app
  • Accessible and informative

The app makes it easier to explore a full issue’s worth of topics, with readable and beautiful ad-free layouts and regular updates. Definitely a useful app for regular readers of the magazine.
  • Great Source Of Information

Over the past several years of having a membership to Foreign Affairs that it is a great source of information. It is refreshing to be able to go to a site that is as bipartisan as Foreign Affairs is. It is well worth the small amount required to maintain a membership so that you can have full access to everything they have to offer.
  • Can we get listening speeds less than 1.5x?

I know major improvements have been made compared to what it used to be. This app used to be a nightmare, and now it is more or less usable, which is appreciated. However, some aspects of the usability still dramatically lack. For instance, who actually can listen to most articles at 1.5x? It would make a lot more sense to have values between .8x and 1.4x be usable. I’d be happy to update this review and rating as improvements are made. Thank you.
