  • You need to pay for it, unlike Samsung

Definitely miss how in Samsung there’s so many apps WITHOUT A PAYMENT PLAN. You can use a call recorder without entering card information, it’s free. I can’t believe iPhone doesn’t have this.

Free trial garbage and then a schedule subscription. I can record off speakerphone to tape, digital or sonograph and it would be easier and cheaper than this ripoff.
  • Rip Off - Does Not Work!

I’ve subscribed to TapeACall since 2016. I recently attempted to listen to recordings from 2016 and they are not available, even though the recording name appears. The support is literally nonexistent. I have made multiple attempts to obtain the recordings from their support area. They respond with a boiler plate message with absolutely no follow-up or results. The app is a complete ripoff. Do Not Buy!

I've been using this app for years now and its easy to use. A click of a button to merge the call and its being recorded. I like it because it's not allowing others that the call is being recorded. It is quick, silent and accurate.

Every once in a while something weird happens but this is a truth worthy app that I can’t do without as my work as a writer. Crazy accurate even when interviewing people with heavy accents.

I have had this app for about 5 years i had a really great one before but i transitioned from an android to an iphone an that app was not iphone compatible i like this app but there are more cons than pros i don’t like the fact that you have to literally go to the app during the call and then merge the call and then there is a beeping noise after you merge the calls no unacceptable i use this app for important calls with lawyers, doctors, or my childrens schools but this app doesn’t always record i have not been able to record some very important calls due to the fact the app would not record after hitting the record button so with those issues i was already leaning towards finding another app but i was hesitant because i have over 1000 phone recordings on this app but now that there has been a $50 price increase im getting ready to transfer my recordings and let the app go its not worth $80 a year no sir i like the apps that automatically start recording once you answer the call. with this app you have to do entirely too much and in texas you don’t have to inform the other party that you are recording so why would this app give a beeping noise so it was fun while it lasted but i will not be paying $80 for this app $30 was too high to me but affordable
  • Disappointed in quality

I’m disappointed in the quality of the audio generated by the app. I had hoped to use it as a way of recording my podcast. Unfortunately I cannot in good conscience put out such poor quality content.

I’m dropping out of my conference calls constantly, almost daily. Used to happen every so often but now it’s an almost daily thing. Their customer support is non existent. Upset because recently I renewed my subscription for something that is defective
