  • Really great, room to improve

I’ve tried a lot of language apps and Duo is one of my favorites. I’m making progress in learning but I feel the learning path seems to keep moving forward without bringing in enough vocabulary learned in earlier lessons. The word review section doesn’t address this problem either because it only allows you to order it either by most recent or alphabetical. When I’ve learned almost 2 thousand words its not really practical have to scroll all the way to the least recently learned. There should be a filter to review words you havent seen in a long while. Or the app should toss them into lessons more often. Also the slightly robot sounding voices are really garbled sounding sometimes. Paire sounds like faire. Tes sounds like ces etc. It would be great if they could clean up the audio a bit or use human voices. And while I’m at it that high pitched little girl voice -Zari? God, it hurts my ears. How cool would it be if we could choose the voices we have to listen to! That sounds like a lot of complaining - I really dont mean it as complaints just stuff I would love to see improved. Otherwise its been a really great learning tool for me so far.
