Absolutely love this app. Easy to use and helps me keep track of my massive VHS collection.

It’s well worth the price of a subscription if you have any kind of collection: books, DVDs, trading cards, etc. It comes with various lists tailored to the kind of collectible and you can even create custom collections. You can enter items manually, scan the barcode (and the app will add all the info) or enter the name of the item to search for it. I recently had a flood and it was a life-saver scanning bar codes from the damaged stuff to create a list for the insurance company.

I have been using this app for many years adding music DVDs to it as I collected them. I HAD over 400 live music DVDs in the app, scanning, uploading, editing and even taking photos of my collection which sync with app. One day, my entire collection disappeared and was wiped out. After contacting support they informed me that the software went through changes from its earliest format and my entire collection was deleted. Then I kept receiving nudges from iCollect to start uploading my collection on the new latest version. I gave it a shot since I once had my 400+ DVD collection there before. The new version is very time consuming as it does NOT just read a barcode and upload the DVD. Each entry required editing, adding the name of the artist, the name of the DVD or title, some did not pick up and needed manual entry, taking a photo of the front of the DVD for the entry photo in the app along with all the other info. Then it all came to a STOP. They don’t tell you the maximum FREE entries is 30 DVDs. After that, NOW they want $29.99 to add more than 30. NOW I’m searching for another app and everything I collect has come to an end. DallasWizard

App is cool and all you can add about 30 of each item but after that you’ll either be given the choice of $30 for unlimited of one item or $60 for any item and that’s a month

I just got this app for my souvenir Penny collection, and soon regretted it. After adding only fifteen items to my collection, it prompted me to buy unlimited items. I am disgusted that they make you pay SIXTY DOLLARS for an organization app. If you are going to charge that much, just make the app cost 10 bucks or so. I get that you have to make money, but this is absurd. I will be finding another app to replace this. Now don’t get me wrong, I do really like the app itself, especially the custom collection creation and the fact you can specify what fields you want in your items, but I refuse to continue using it when the price for more than 15 items is $60. My suggestion is to at least allow up to a hundred items before this charge, and lower the price to at MAX $30. Devs, I love your app but I believe these are things to be concerned about if you want to keep app users. Regards, Elias

If you want full access you’ll need to subscribe for another $49.99 per month.
  • Too expensive and major bug

The desktop does not add items like the mobile with a major bug that has been reported for months
  • Great for what it is

If you’re an avid collector of something it’s great to help prevent buying doubles once your collection becomes large enough. Interface may be a bit daunting to work with the settings but it’s easier than it looks.
