    We have been using Zoom for several years now. Last night, Friday May 24, 2024, Co-Pastor Donna and I, loaded Zoom to check and address any and all issues because we had a very special Prayer Service scheduled during our (regular) Saturday morning meeting, again, like the regular meetings we held for several years now, no different, same Meeting ID and Passcode we’ve been using all them years before, and last night it went off without a hitch. I was able to log-in as the host; check the video and audio feeds; and even authorize Co-Pastor Donna to join the meeting, under the same Zoom Meeting ID we’ve used all them years. HOWEVER, this morning Zoom FAILED us, and neither myself; nor Co-Pastor Donna could signed in and host for this special service, instead Zoom was using some other ‘Workspace’ or something to that nature and it would not allow us to utilize our regular sign-in data. I’m canceling my subscription to Zoom, impart, because, Zoom has become too difficult to use and no OPTIONS are made available to access your account, instead, the App I just deleted, forces you to choose a set of options that doesn’t work!

    Meetings over the past 4 months all very clear, audio and pictures pixel, presentation and screen shares loaded also in less than 2 seconds. Definitely upgrading to the pro✨✨⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Formerly great, now impossible to access

    I’ve been using Zoom multiple times a week since the pandemic—since say, 2020 (it’s now mid-2024). Suddenly, as of today, I can no longer use it. Instead, I get a message saying to update. Then when I try to update, I can’t do so, because my operating system isn’t high enough. Next, I get a message asking me if I’d like to update to the highest version of Zoom that I can, based on my iOS. But THEN when I click yes, I get the same question over and over: would I like to update to the highest version of Zoom I can? I click yes. Would I like to update to the highest...etc...ad infinitum. So now I can no longer use Zoom—! Makers: please allow people like me to actually update to the highest system their iOS allows! Don’t keep us in this weird limbo / hall of mirrors!

    Horrible video and audio I could not hear anymore than a bleep from the graduation but I could hear a child talking which appeared to be another zoom user. I could also hear some one telling that user to mute their phone which they never did!! I totally missed hearing my grandson's name being called then I finally realized it was him walking down the stairs!! What a shame! I am very disappointed that there was such a limit on tickets to attend his graduation but thought the recording would be okay and it was NOT!!!
  • User interface could be better

    User interface needs to be more intuitive for people who do not have a computer background. In particular, the Zoom controls when screen sharing tend to get in the way. Also hard to find some settings like the camera rotation (very small obscure icon in the image shown on the Video Settings screen).
  • One star for bad service

    Zoom is trying to build a fully automated humanless platform and it shows. I tried to sign up for a phone line, but after realizing that I was not going to get any technical support, I decided that I might as well close my account because it was just a taste of what was to come. All these companies that think that they’re going to set up machinery without employing actual people to help you and then just sit and collect money while the CEO sits on a yacht are deluded. If it says AI powered then run as fast as you can from the service because the translation is that there are no human beings there to help you if you run into problems.
