  • The App Is Always Changing For Worse!

    Every few months the app changes. Yet for the years I have used Instacart it is never up to date with items. Items listed are not carried by the store and other items are in the store but not listed. Now I can’t even scroll down and add a description and photo of an item I know store has—Up to 4 months ago I could. Plus now I can’t change tips before order is shipped no matter how I try by following instructions! Finally most of the shoppers are so overwhelmed they don’t or can’t read the notes and replacements I spent a lot of time writing down. I have told numerous support people about these problems and they are never resolved. I am probably not going to renew my subscription unless the service improves.

    I love the fact of spending my time doing something else but yet my grocery shopping is done too. I just wish the drivers would deliver to the right address.

    Two of my orders were marked delivered by the drivers but never actually delivered. They make the refund process very difficult for an issue that is their fault. It took 45 minutes on chat. Horrible customer service once you finally get someone as well. Basically a scam now

    Love this Service periodic people are consider it a fission and wonderful to do that thank you Had problems with charge card didn’t know who to talk to feel isolated and can’t get in touch with anybody finally after three tries I got it, but who do you call and how do you get in touch with someone?

    Cannot disable ad notifications. Toggling “Marketing Updates” notification setting does absolutely nothing.

  • Instacart shut down my account with no warning

    My employer asked me to purchase some snacks though instacart, and gave me the company card so I didn’t have to go out of pocket (I’m freelance, so this isn’t uncommon). Instacart flagged and locked my account. I messaged the tech support explaining the situation, and if using my employers card wasn’t okay, I’d be happy to place the order on my own card and be reimbursed. Instacart said that I violated the terms of service and i can no longer use the app, and locked me out. They haven’t replied to any of my emails asking if I could contest this, and their customer service line keeps you on hold for 8minutes and hangs up. Now this affects the people who depend on Instacart for extra income, because there is now one less person using the app, and Instacart will not hear my case. This disrespectful customer service is unacceptable, and I encourage you to find another service as they do not care for their users.
