I’ve been using for years and wanted to listen to a new title, I may my monthly and have changed nothing, it played 1 minute and wants to charge me more to listen. I haven’t even listened this month and I’m locked out.

Would love to be able to give more stars, but everytime I try and get a subscription it is unable to process on the apps end but on Apple I have a subscription. Audible it is
  • Audiobooks keep restarting

I’ve emailed them almost a dozen times about audiobooks that don’t save their place. Nothing hasn’t changed. Also when I put this app use on pause to save money they kept charging me. They said they put the usage on pause, not the subscription. Why were they charging me if I wasn’t using it
  • Lots of glitches

I have an annual subscription and I listen to about a book a week. I have yet to listen to an entire book without a handful of glitches. It often doesn’t save your spot, it stops mid sentence with weird pauses, and it has a terrible time loading books that have been “downloaded”. I am often frustrated by the tech issues. The local library app is better than this. I always make sure the app is updated and I often restart my phone hoping it will help. I’ve even deleted the app and re-downloaded it. However, the selection is vast, and if I wanted to read a digital copy of a book, I probably wouldn’t have these issues. I keep using it because I bought an entire year subscription… probably won’t renew.
  • App not honoring subscription

I’m out two months worth of subscription fees because when I renew it’s not activating my account. I’ve tried multiple times to contact customer service even on contacted the on X got a reply my issue was escalated but have still yet to hear anything or have my issue solved. Apple won’t refund my charges when requested.

  • Over priced

Based on current policy of unlocking only one book per month, this is certainly super over priced. You can buy the book for the same price instead. They introduced a restrictive policy without giving option for people to cancel with refund.
  • Glitch on iPad Pro.

There is an opaque oval at the top of the screen which blocks the text. I’ve tried updating the app, deleting and reinstalling the app, \and restarting my iPad to no avail. New pricing appears to limit the availability of books compared to what I had before.
  • Shouldn’t Have Changed

I loved this until last week when they changed their rental policy. Now all the titles I want I have to pay with their premium packages (that are not very good). Note to Everand: I can get these for free at the public library, and Audible already charges. You were the best at what you did, and now you have an impossible business model that is destined to flame out.
  • Do not do it.

The want to charge more and give you less… this company doesn’t want to give you access to books… it just wants your money. Evil misers who only care about their shareholder’s pockets. There are better platforms. I hope to see this one rot.
