Description

Sleep better and start the day with your favorite tunes. Curious to see how much you slept? Then track your sleep in the app. Alarm Clock HD is the app to help you enjoy restful sleep and wake up worry free. How Alarm Clock HD helps you sleep better: • Unlimited Alarms: Apple Music or Alarm Sounds • Customize Nightstand display colors • Sleep Timer • Local Weather Information • Instant Flashlight - shake the device • Full watchOS 2 support • Screen Saver - for devices with OLED display WAKE UP ON TIME: Proper Alarm Settings • Keep the app open and running to always have your alarm go off and play the sounds you’ve set for ‘Music'. When your app is open, you can use the volume slider within the app. When the app is in the background, use the device volume to set your volume. • Make sure your battery is charged and to have your notifications turned on before you go to sleep, when the battery level goes below 30% it might not sound. This is due to prevent the device from dying and the alarm not going off. • Keep your Apple Music available on your device The music you can select consists of everything you have available on your ‘Apple Music’ app on your device. If the music is saved on your iCloud, and not on the device itself, it won’t be available. NEVER MISS AN ALARM When you closed the app and not having it running in the background? The alarm will use the device volume instead and play the notification sound system. The app will close itself automatically after 10 hours of inactivity. This is due to prevent the device from dying and the alarm not going off. When your device is muted, set to ‘Do Not Disturb’ or your device volume is set to 0, the alarm won’t play properly. It will still show the notification without any sound. This is due to Apple’s restrictions as we are unable to access the app settings when the app is closed, only when it’s open or running in the background. >> Have any questions? • Ads in the middle of the night?

I have used this app since I started using a smart phone for an alarm. Have done away with my actual alarm clock / clock radio. Got used to the one ad that followed opening the app. I get it that I could upgrade to the $ version, but this version has worked so good for so long. Now, I get ads at the bottom of the screen at all times of the night. And not just subtle apps that will respond to the little x in the corner, nor will the brightness control hinder them (well, it does, actually, but there are no numbers to see). These ads are bright! I guess I should be glad that the ads have no audio (for now). Whoever made the decision to include these random ads needs to use the version for themself to see how annoying this is. You do know there are other options out there, right?
  • Not my Alarm Clock

My wife and I have been using this app for over 25 years! The “ads”, the paid “special features” have destroyed the functionality of a previously very good alarm clock! Capitalism triumphs or trumps, and you the user loses!

This has been my go to alarm for years - every night. I dealt with the the onslaught of ads and the 2 minute ad every night before bed (used to be a couple of seconds). Then they started ads on the clock itself which meant now my room would light up like Christmas at random times thru the night. Not fun. The last straw was that it recently started hanging up in the middle of the night. That hang up means my alarms don’t go off. This means it’s now unreliable. Two stars for historical use when it was my go to.
  • Turns alarms off on its own

Over the last few months this alarm has turned its alarms off (un-checked them) several times. I have gotten in the habit of making sure the alarm is set every night but again this morning it didn’t go off. When I looked, they were unchecked. I don’t know why it is doing this but it has cost me money!

This app worked well for years then they allowed these game apps to run an ad when you open that shows the game forever and the even when you do try to close it they make it nearly impossible. I will never use again.

Have had this app for years with the ads. Used to be great & I didn’t mind the ads at all. Now the ads are very lengthy & more difficult to close out of. A most definite thumbs down. I don’t want to now pay a yearly subscription for a simple alarm clock to eliminate the ads. So disappointed. Why did you not leave the app the way it was? Very disappointing, frustrating & annoying. I am looking for a new alarm app.
