I tried to sign in with my own email that I just got. It’s asking for some parental sign in. I’ll switch to Apple Watch. Never using Fitbit again. Keep in mind I’m almost 13. Actual garbage.

  • Scolding messages from app

There is a bug (179 comments regarding it on the community board) where cardio load messages keep popping up, talking up 20% of the screen. You click X to close the message and it doesn’t work. The messages are appearing when you don’t have the cardio load function active. There are several different scolding messages that it rotates through, all irrelevant and nonsensical.
  • The new target prompts are meaningless and annoying

There’s a new prompt that shows up on the today tab in the app that says ready to hit your target today? And then some meaningless warning about being at risk of under- or over-training. Tapping the prompt doesn’t offer any additional insight about what to do or what the cardio load target means. Tapping the X to close the prompt sometimes works, but mostly doesn’t. It’s super annoying and I don’t understand the reason or utility behind it. I know I’m not the only one annoyed by this Update: I got an unhelpful developer response directing me to a help article that doesn’t address the issue. How wonderfully useless.

I miss the ability to create a walking group with friends and compete with them. We stopped competing .The app was better before it was purchased by the Google.
  • Zero stars : Software wears out before the hardware does.

Since a few months ago use to sleep analysis Rem/deep/light. That is now gone. Also use to see hart rate variability, again gone. Lots of features are gone. What has happened? I always had these before and now they are gone with no explanation. Don’t be greedy/evil google. Please bring these features back. Not a happy customer any more. Software wears out before the hardware does. Sounds like.

I like my Fitbit! It tells me a lot of information about what is going on with my body. Recently though, it often does not give me my sleep score just the graph. It is frustrating. I like having a number!
  • Google is the worst thing to happen to FITBIT

I cannot connect my son’s Fitbit because Google is making it nearly impossible. I can buy a cheaper watch and connect it seamlessly. Waste of time & money.
