Learning a language can be an experience that transforms your life. Over 25 years of language learning experience has taught Rosetta Stone one thing: everyone has the ability to learn to read, write, and speak a language with confidence. Try the Rosetta Stone app yourself for free. Many online language learning apps will promise that you can learn a language in just a few minutes a day. However, there is a significant difference between memorizing vocabulary lists and speaking a language with confidence. Learning a language is about more than just the words. One of the mistakes new language learners make is treating language as an object or an end goal instead of as an experience. Ditch the books, translator, and dictionary, and surround yourself with a language whenever, wherever with the Rosetta Stone mobile app. RECENT AWARDS • 2019 PCMag Editors’ Choice • 2019 Tabby Awards Winner • 2019 Best Mobile App Awards: Best Designed App and Best Overall App Rosetta Stone has taught millions of people new languages, and you’re next. • Immersion

I love how I’m learning French without any English being used. It’s really intuitive. There are lots of opportunities to listen to French and speak French and learn grammar.
  • A flawed app

While the Rosetta Stone approach to teaching languages is unquestionably very good, the app itself is an exercise in frustration. I constantly receive messages about the lack of the internet (which is working fine, as evidenced by me sending this review), which brings the lessons to a grinding halt. I also often receive messages about poor quality of sound from my microphone, regardless if I use the built-in microphone (on the latest iPad Air) or AirPods. All in all, I find myself using the app less and less because using it is so unpleasant.

I used Rosetta Stone and it’s amazing because they let u pick what language then they let u pick why u r learning that language for example I’m doing it for travel it’s just so good and so helpful
  • Great app but

Fantastic way to learn a language, my only two critiques are that the pronunciation activities tend to get annoying because they don’t always go through. I’ll say a phrase and it won’t move on and I’ll have to manually move on and not get credit for the question. It’s not all the time but sometimes can be quite frustrating when you want to be sure you’re saying it right. I always wish there was more elaboration on vocabulary and conjugations and such, but perhaps I’m too early on in the program for that

I am totally enjoying this app. I sometimes have difficulty seeing the pictures on my phone, or reading the small print, but I am learning. It is hard to unlearn English but my brain is learning to.
