Here are some things for a update 1. Add historical constellations also 2. Add nations adding nations when we search it up we can see the borders 3. Add exoplanets it’s a great idea to add those. I rate this a 5/5 because it’s a good astronomical app

Luminos is the primary planetarium program for all my astronomy and astrophotography planning and observing. Excellent program for novice and advanced astronomy enthusiasts.

Update: Unfortunately, with the move to a subscription based model, I will not be continuing to use this app. If you use it every week, that might work for you, but not for an occasional user. I’m disappointed, but oh well. ————— This is hands down the BEST astronomy app on iOS. It might have the flashiest UI, or glittering effects, but it's still darn pretty and is the most feature packed app of its kind. I've bought almost all of them, including Redshift and Distant Suns, but this one is the only one that remains on my phone. To the devs, thank you. Sincerely. To everyone else, you'd be doing yourself a disservice to pass this one up.

Has potential to be cool if I could figure out the app. Someone please help me.

Had this app for as long as I can remember. I use for causal observation, and is one reason I bought a telescope. I was a little disappointed right after I bought the scope as the ecliptic was backward and the tile was off but deleted and reinstalled works great again.

This is a good app. However, I bought it (it wasn’t cheap) because the developer said in his description that people shouldn’t have to constantly pay to upgrade. Now he’s going to a monthly fee system. That’s changing the rules in the middle of the game. I honestly feel like he lied and I will be moving to another app. There’s lots of really good astronomy apps to use. The developer has said he doesn’t owe anyone an app for life, but he sold the app with the assurance of continued support. I guess personal integrity isn’t as important as cash flow.

I paid for Luminos and now the developer is switching to a subscription model. I understand a developer wanting a continuing revenue stream, but this developer is moving features behind the paywall that I along with every other purchaser of Luminos already paid for already. That is not fair. We paid to purchase this app and are now being told “whoops the features you contracted for are now only available if you subscribe and pay continuously”. It would be understandable if the developer was providing only new features behind the subscription paywall, but that is not what is happening here. The developer is taking features like “orbit” and “land” that were included in our original purchase, and moving them behind the subscription paywall. That is unacceptable. Everyone who purchased Luminos should give the new app one star ratings until the developers rectify these issues.
