    Al inicio tuve excelentes experiencias, la plataforma aseguraba un cierto estándar en los lugares, a través del sistema mutuo de calificación. Una de mis últimas experiencias fué un lugar sucio (la foto de dentro del baño no aparecía). Como me quejé el host me pidió que me fuera casi a la medianoche en un lugar con escasas opciones de alquiler, me hizo la devolución del dinero a toda prisa para obligarme a irme, y Airbnb no me permitió ponerle una mala reseña. En resumen los host han encontrado formas de burlar las normas y servicio al cliente de Airbnb los protege.

    This clowns have the worst customer service ever! There call center is in India and no one really understands English and they will not resolve your issues.

    I recently tried to book with a miserable host named Cal in Long Beach. I was denied from not enough good reviews (I have one positive review and zero negative). Also, I suspect an arbitrary and unfair filtering practice. I have never been arrested, never got a moving violation, 800+ credit. It’s amazing and insulting that a rude host could complicate this process. I have had pleasant experiences with many hosts but one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. I will be checking hotels first from now on. Unfair and unreliable.

    Would give no stars if possible. Please use hotels. They are safer. I’ve used airbnb for years, and even hosted through them. If you are ever in danger or feel your safety is threatened, airbnb will not help you. I am abroad, and my airbnb was burglarized. It’s my 4th night in a hotel, because airbnb can not act quickly enough to give me a refund or another stay. They are horrifically ill equipped to handle emergency situations. They have a police report and all the documentation they need to resolve this issue, and now I’m out thousand of dollars bc of their incompetence. Shame on you airbnb.

    If you’re hosting your home or property on Airbnb DONT! They have no concern or care for the people actually putting their property up for them to make money. Myself and my husband have been in a number of weird situations that could’ve been solved by Airbnb. It’s insane. They refund people from our money even though they’re clearly trying to game the system.

    No offense to the app designers, it seems to work as intended, but the way that’s intended is just that Airbnb gets their cut. It seems like a cruel prank designed to keep you bouncing between different message chains in the app where help bots say the same irrelevant things to you over and over. It’s not their interest that you actually have a place to stay as a guest. I arrived at a house that was totally unacceptable per their policy—even the host agreed and refunded me their part of the money. I found my own place to stay because Airbnb didn’t respond to help me and now (less than 24 hours later) they’re telling me they can’t cover me under their policy because it’s more than 72 hours since I discovered the damage. I responded correcting them and am waiting. I suspect if I do get all my money back it will take a lot more of my time today after all the time, gas, and hotel money they cost me yesterday.

    Full of listings that ‘hosts’ don’t actually have and ‘Hosts’ that don’t respond at all.
