  • Notifications don't take you to the story

You get a notification about a story or a highlight. If you click it, it just brings you to the home page. Such an easy fix but they don't address it.
  • Worthless

Recent update now won't even show you articles. It wants you to enable location services and purchase a plan instead of allowing you to read stories. It wasn't great before but this made it useless. It's pointless to use this app to watch games when they're better platforms for that. Deleted

OMG! Fire your developers. Get a focus group together of the demographic who previously used your app, and then implement their suggestions and feedback. It’s that simple!!! Jeez! 🤦🏻‍♂️
  • Poor design for iPad

For the phone, this new design may be great, but it’s awful on the iPad. I don’t use my iPad in portrait. I exclusively use it in landscape (especially since I have a keyboard). I guess I’ll be using the ESPN app to view my NFL news.
  • What happened to landscape mode??

If there are people out there that watch streaming video on their iPads in portrait mode, I don’t want to know them. Why is the app forcing me to use portrait mode on my ipad??
  • Useless and gets worse and worse

Adding to my previous review, the NFL, a multi-billion dollar organization that openly crows about how technologically sophisticated they are, has an iPad app that is now locked in portrait mode 😂. I mean this is something my kid learns in her high school programming class. This is mind boggling. I don’t even subscribe to NFL+, just want to pull up a game and see stats and this app can’t even do that. Most stats display incorrectly (both teams have zero yards total offense at the end of the game) or not at all (NaN filled in, which tells me their engineers don’t even know how to type-check the API data or didn’t bother). Yet another example of the Never cares about their Fans League.
  • Won’t switch to landscape mode

The NFL app was great until the latest update. Now I can’t get the app out of portrait mode and into landscape mode. I dislike holding the iPad in portrait mode. And I hope it’s fixed before the season starts. I can’t imagine watching games in portrait mode.

The recent rework of the app is great. Definite improvement in ease of use, general functionality, and appearance. Happy with the improvements!

They keep charging me when I canceled my membership and the app glitches so bad
  • Bad UX, Why bother with NFL+ ?

Have subscribed to NFL+ in hopes that I could watch updated episodes of GMFB, NFL Total Access etc. These get blacked out for at least five days or as many as two weeks, so the latest news is out of date unless I’m watching NFL network streamed live, which I don’t have time for. UX is pretty confusing. I simply cannot find the content I’m looking for. Also, the app will not shift into landscape mode as of this writing, so the only way to use the app is in portrait mode. Hoping that a big UX pass is underway in an effort to help users get the content they want in the view they want.
