Everything works except for their Wi-Fi communication to print. The part that works the best for them is the ability to buy new ink. That works seamlessly. I believe, truly, that they sabotaged the ability to print remotely in order to get you to buy a new machine. Even if they didn’t sabotage it directly, They did it indirectly which is simply another form of sabotage against their customers. They burned our time looking for a solution for which they did not truly offer. Let’s put them out of business…

Useless if have this recent most popular printer on Amazon

The WiFi connections are all go and have been put in freshly many times but the print page on my OS mobile says no printer recognized. Then on the next page it does recognize the printer model but by the time I go back to the print page, it’s gone. I have downloaded and then dumped the Brother mobile print apps and then reloaded to no avail. Am most unhappy and do not want to have to pay for a commercial app off the App Store at 50 a year. The printer does fine with wifi connection to laptop but goes belly up with my iPhone now. It used to work.

Not even close…

The **ONLY** point of this app is to force users like my to use 4x as much ink with each page printed. This app doesn’t allow any of the ink saving features that have been a standard part of printing for 20 years. Shame on brother. Shame on Apple. I’ve convinced at least 10 people to invest in brother laser printers. Never again. Return to drivers or allow lower ink printing options. Shameful! Return the draft printing options.

The only time this app and my printer/scan works with no problem is when I’m home on my home WiFi. When I’m out and need to scan documents trying to connect by Bluetooth or changing WiFi settings is a pain. I should be able to scan and upload documents using my iPhone connected to my cellular data and be able to swap between the two or at least login to another WiFi connection. The printers are fine but using the Brother products and the app are not convenient for a mobile office. Setup is also a pain. I would suggest the Brother printers because you can print without having all the ink colors but look into other options for scanners.

This app is so NOT user friendly, and there are two apps that seem to have partial control over the same things but neither of them are helpful. When I’m trying to connect the printer to a new WiFi (replaced the old one) the instructions just say “Connect to WiFi” - that’s really helpful. You’re a computer based business. Get your apps fixed and maybe combine them into one app that actually works.
