My account was suspended for “harassment” without a single piece of evidence, context, or explanation provided. When I requested specifics, I received identical boilerplate responses with no indication of what content or behavior allegedly violated the guidelines. This lack of transparency and refusal to engage in basic accountability raises serious concerns about SCRUFF’s moderation practices. Issuing final warnings without substantiating the charge is not just careless—it borders on defamation. Users deserve clarity when accused. Anything less undermines trust and signals that this platform prioritizes convenience over fairness.

Could use some improvement on getting rid of scams and of course bugs other than that I love the app!!!

Scruff takes chats HOSTAGE for $$$ which is totally disgusting “blackmailing” users to 💰 pay to access to their latest chats. Scruff is also severely stale dead even in Los Angeles intentionally flooded by Fake Profiles. First you’ll get bombarded by very aggressive Ads, than “misled” with profiles that are 6K miles away. Your local grid is filled with stale dead and FAKE profiles. With barely any moderation, reporting Fake profiles will get you “Banned” off the App. The Developer Response made to shame really tells a lot.

They removed the search button! Why? I pay 15 dollars a month for this thing, why get rid of a feature?

App and customer service are horrible. They don’t allow watermarks on pictures so guys steal them and use as their own. Absolutely ridiculous

I get a ridiculous amount of spam bots, and no matter how many times I report them. They don’t seem to get any better in terms of the number just an FYI for y’all that it gets annoying and nothing seems to get better.

I generally like the app, however the photo editor has a bunch of text over your picture lecturing you on what you can have and how to crop. However, you have to work around all of the text to actually crop the photo.

Generally, I like this app, but I don’t like the new format. It states ‘search is now in new and nearby’, but there is no link there. Please bring back ‘search’

This app got annoying by adding a blue notification dot when anyone just LOOKS at your profile… it’s quite annoying… Change it back please!

I don’t live anywhere near NYC but it always, Always, ALWAYS shows profiles from NYC. Dear Scruff, there ARE other cities in America besides NYC. Just once I’d like to see more profiles from Miami. Or Dallas. Or Greenville, SC. Anywhere but NYC; been looking at them for six years.
