  • Doesn’t stop hotspot

We were told by AT&T that when data was turned off by this app, the hotspot would be as well. That was not true, the hotspot continues to function even when you turn off your kids data. There’s no point of turning off data if they can just use each other’s hotspots to bypass all of it

I really liked this app when I first installed it, because there are certain things that you can block , and it makes my child’s phone safer. However, the limit of 20 blocks is just not enough! And the domains run constantly, even if nobody is online. Like my child can go to sleep at night and by the time he wakes up in the morning and turns his phone on his entire timeline is domains. We wanna block them. And every time I see something new I need to block, I have to remove something o already have blocked. Please add more blocking spots. It should be unlimited due to so many new sites popping up daily.

Unfortunately this app does a poor job in a lot of areas. The location tracking is incorrect OFTEN as well as the online activity data. I will be cancelling this soon
  • System shut down

For some reason when I’m staying at home for any length of time, the system shut down. When my wife checks on my location, it acts like I’ve locked her out or turn the system off. I’m not sure why it’s doing that.

  • Delete their phone backups when installing

I recently found that my daughter found a way to delete app on her phone. I was racking my brain because she wasn’t going to tell me. Until I realized they just restore the phone from a backup prior to the app being installed. Go into there strings/ Apple ID and turn off back ups and delete all previous back ups. This will ensure they can’t restore and delete it. Once that is done you can turn automatic back ups again and the app shall remain.

Been using this for years with no issues until one of the recent updates took away the ability to track location. Absolutely ridiculous.
