  • Horrible, puts control in kids hands

This app requires installing/pairing with your kids phone to work. It puts the power back in the kids hands as they can get around the app, unpair or delete it. It provides no control to parents. Horrible. Bring back the old app,Smart Limits.

This app is probably the best we have found, however we are kidding ourselves when we think our children won’t use a separate VPN or other hidden social media on the web, we simply can’t keep up. That is where it is important that if you are willing to install this on your child’s. The app really needs to have a time limit for the screen time as well as the times of day to use. I think we all would be shocked to see that there is literally hours of screen time that once was used to daydream, read books, or play soccer. Screen time is important and needs a limit just like we had when young on amount of TV time. If possible, somehow limiting APP installation without our approval would also work well. If the user could not install any apps without first approval, it may help. The last thing would be to state “Until this program can be embedded into the actual AT&T phone or system, our kids will always be able to figure out a work around”. It is imperative you also talk with your kids to make this work. There still needs to be a lot of trust. Your trust in your child is still a better deterrent than this program at this time.
  • Location check in not accurate

Notifications sent when child in “general area” of an exact address location that was entered to be notified. “General area” not good enough. Need notification when they enter the actual address entered, not if they just drive nearby.

I accidentally put my son on as the parent now it can’t be reversed. I called customer support and they’re clueless. They acknowledge that I’m the primary account holder but can’t do anything about it. AT&T at their usual, poor customer service and a bunch of people on the phone who know next to nothing.

The content block works well. The location service is spotty it drops pairing a lot. I wish it had better parental control over children’s devices. I block and set time limits but apps will work independently anyway. I can’t get a history of use or in what areas of use. I would like a lockdown or lockout mode to keep someone else on their phones from accessing private information.
  • Needs A LOT of work

I tried it for just over a month. Half the time it would say that my daughter is with 2 mile of this location and half the time it wouldn’t update a location. Poor quality and not reliable for me.

AT&T had a useful app that they replace with an unusable app. Hopefully they will scrap this app and start over.

  • Problem to pinpoint

Unless u can obtain your addicted loved ones phone you do not make it easy to pinpoint theyre location... which happens to be most important!!get with it att its 2019. You can pinpoint this phones location without having to physically pair it... dont BS me!! Oh yea i have been a good customer over 30 yrs🧐
  • Child location could be a little better

The app is awesome but it would be much better if an out of zone location warning for child location alerts would be available. Like if your child travels outside a certain zone, we’d receive an alert. Other than that it’s great.
