Good sports coverage from high school to pros. News is usually out of date and mostly Democratic talkings points. Was independent news coverage until USA Today took over
  • Can someone keep him reporting sports only - Gregg Doyel

If I wanted his political opinion I’d ask for it. Keep him writing about sports not politics. Last thing I want to hear is him coming into an election year.

The fact Gregg Doyle is still hired at this newspaper is a disgrace

Like other users, the interface between IndyStar (and what seems to be other Gannett papers) drops about half of the time. Restoring iTunes purchases doesn’t work. It would be better to subscribe through their website and then sign in.

I was a subscriber for a long time when suddenly my access was cut off. I renewed my subscription through the app, but it didn’t give me access. So I did all the troubleshooting (log out, restore purchase, etc) to no avail. Tried to log onto the website, but got stuck in an endless loop. Called customer support and they say the problem is Apple. They were unhelpful and rude. Wanted me to fax a copy of my credit card statement. I asked if I could email it to them because I don’t have a fax machine but the only other option is mail lol. Literally trying to give these guys my money and they were unwilling to help. So I did what they said, I called Apple who told me the problem was Indy star. I’m not dealing with this so u cancelled my subscription and Apple is refunding me my money. Sad what USA Today did to a local paper.

I have paid for the enewspaper thru IndyStar several days ago and still cannot get the enewspaper to load. The other sections open fine. I talked to tech support yesterday and the only advise was to try again today! I have tried today and it is still not working. Help! I will call for help again today but it may be a waste of time. If I can’t get what I paid for I will request a refund.

Approx once per month I’m unable to access subscriber content despite being a subscriber.

This app is constantly giving issues where it will not let me access content that is only available to subscribers even though I have a valid subscription.
  • eEdition App is terrible

You can’t find past issues like the print edition offered plus you have to deal with adds popping up on each page. The print edition cannot be found. Rich Rardin
