This is the best app and community for chess! Everything works well but I have two complaints: 1. You should be able to set alarms for when your time is running out, at whatever intervals you choose. 2. Navigating to daily tournament results is a pain. It should be easier to see how you’re doing in each tournament you’ve entered.

No analytical anticheat. Horrendous UI/UX especially for current year. Greedy monetization. Lazy devs with zero QA effort. A zero experience novice cs student from a no name tier 20 college can vibe code a better chess app than this antiquated pile of garbage. The only reason they’re successful is because they’re ancient. Sad! Wish I could give this 0 stars.

I started playing chess at eight years old and when I seen this because I gotta learn lessons and play with my friends play bots you get a review your game get your own reading play with people from different states I just wanna think chess.com for their amazing app.

Many levels for play against the app.

The app is good. The only real issue is not all players play honestly (they use a chess engine for some or all moves). While chess.com does a lot to combat this and they will give you your points back from losses to cheaters (who get caught within 30 days of when you played), they do not catch even half of the cheaters. Unfortunately there’s not much any online platform can do to fix this issue with online chess.

Was called the n word because of my country. Reported the player and they were never banned. Trash admins. Why pay for membership if they can’t even have automated bans for certain words. Edit: reported them five times over the past month no ban. Also, they have trash servers. Playing 3 + 2 you sometimes have less than a second to move despite getting 2 seconds added every move because of server lag. Edit: It’s even worse. It’s impossible to play 3 + 2. If your opponent moves you have less than 2 seconds to make a move. You’re move will often go through but you still run out of time due to server lag etc. trash trash trash. Why do I pay for a membership

The worst chess application ever, all the time they give me ppl less rating then me, and after my complain looks like they banned me, cuz I cannot play anymore. Plus my during my game start updating and make leave my game and I loose points
