    The AT&T U-verse app should get zero stars. I believe that AT&T has intentionally ruined U-verse and this app because they are trying to force people to switch to DirecTV. How else can you explain why the so-called update actually made the app functionality significantly worse? They have eliminated every feature that people frequently used and actually liked about an otherwise terrible app. Why would you sabotage your own product that way if you weren’t trying to make people hate it so much that they would be forced to switch to another service out of frustration? The wheels have been in motion on this project ever since AT&T bought out DirecTV. Change my mind AT&T. Prove me wrong by fixing this app. I seriously doubt that will happen.

  • Can’t Get It To Work

    I have had the app for a while, and it has never worked for me. I tried it again, and it must have updated because it looks different. I can make a list of favorites and look at my recordings, but the guide tab does nothing. Most of my favorites show up as ‘not subscribed to’, but I have all of these channels on my AT&T on my tv. I can’t figure out how to get the guide to work and how to watch any of the channels on my iPad. I tried to ‘chat’ online with support but got nowhere.

  • No “use as remote” feature

    My remote has several buttons not working well. The U-verse page advises you to use your phone as a remote using this app. But that is no longer a feature of the app. And when I try to request a replacement remote through the AT&T app I get nowhere.

  • Useless app, recordings not showing

    If I could give zero stars I would. I have 100+ recordings on my tv, and would love to watch on the app when I’m traveling. However, the app isn’t showing any of them smh. And the shows aren’t available on demand, despite airing this week. Pointless app!

    10/16/2024 - Looks like app was replaced. Tried the replacement. Still does not have local channels. Deleted again. 07/04/2024 - Nothing has been fixed. App doesn’t even load. 05/03/2024 - Still does not have local channels. I used to be able to record shows on local channels through the app when I forgot to set them at home. That functionality is gone. Two weeks now and nothing has been fixed. 03/26/2024: New version is still not fixed. Someone should test this before releasing another useless version.

    The updated app is confusing and not intuitive at all! Having pictures of the shows but not an obvious date and time makes it difficult if not impossible to set or erase a recording. Change it back, please!
