This app does not function efficiently on the Apple Watch

I used to stand by AccuWeather as a gold standard for weather apps. But between the adds and changing the Gulf of Mexico on the whims of a dictator is obnoxious. I’ll be looking for a better weather app.

Accuweather used to be an amazing and incredibly accurate weather app. I’m currently sitting in a downpour and the precipitation log shows no precipitation for the next 120 minutes, for my exact location, after restarting the app. What happened?! Accuweather went from one of the best weather apps out there to a coin flip. Might as well rename the app Guessuweather.

I wish you could get a 24 hour radar look. The longest time is 2 hours, Or I should say I don’t see another option?

Worst app. Slowness madness

This app seemed great for how highly it was rated but right after I opened it up I was swarmed with ads. It was actually slowing the app down til I could barely switch between screens. I decided to get the premium version because it was so bad. But literally every other feature besides temperature is behind a paywall. You can’t even have a widget unless you pay for it…

Hard to trust an app that changes the name of the Gulf of Mexico

I’ve never left a review on an app before and especially didn’t think it would ever be for AccuWeather which claims to be the most accurate weather app in the App Store. I’ve had this app for 10+ years and it’s never really left me astray until tonight where my entire softball team told me it was gonna downpour and I pulled up AccuWeathers radar which said the storm wouldn’t be close to us and it wouldn’t rain so I assured them they would be fine. 3rd inning comes around and hurricane katrina jr pulls through the outfield and straight over home plate to leave us all soaked and disgusting. Now the season is ruined and I’m batting 9 spot the rest of this year thanks to ACCUWEATHER!

Archaic design. The app developers have to know that most people use their iPad primarily in portrait screen orientation. For some reason they insist on offering landscape view only on iPad. Even the most basic apps offer switching between portrait and landscape. Please redesign the app for basic standard viewing in portrait as well.

I appreciate your timely and mostly perfect reporting of this important local information. But I don't want to upgrade to Adblock as it is a scam.
