    I bought the whole years worth so I could create my own foods and I still can’t and I’m still seeing ads so I should’ve stayed with the regular version Tried to get a refund through Apple and they said I had to go through the app manufacture trying to get a refund through the app manufacturer and they said I have to go through Apple UPDATE - Developer very helpful, Apple dishonest AND unhelpful. Can create foods now and know better how to deal with Apple in the future.

    I decided to use ‘ lose it” app to follow up on my daily intake calories , I knew that it is going to take time to loose weight but imagine that l have been adding weight all these years without thinking about the consequences of health . I am sixty years old medium frame . On January 7 th 2019 I decided to use “lose it” app by entering all what I eat daily , by adding my protein intakes and cut off on carbohydrates product specially bread and sweet coffee and add vegetable to my menus. I am so happy to be more healthier, more energetic, more happier . I enter all calories I eat daily religiously, and I notice the difference. I use to weight 250 pounds as of today after 72 days I am 221 pounds . I know I still have a long way to go but I am not going to give up. Lose it app will help me daily on controlling my calories and manage my breakfast, lunch and dinner plus my snack. To all the people that are suffering from weight, take a deep breath, and do like I do : so what if it takes one or two years to meet your goal ! Just start today and loose ounces per day . Imagine if you loose 1 pound a week , in one year you loose 52 pounds. That’s my theory and I am stuck with it. You can do it , Use “lose it” app and you will get there if you enter the real food that you ate during the day. And be healthy !     This is my 23rd day using Lose It Premium, and I must say I am super impressed. Week one went great, and I lost a bunch of weight with calorie budgeting plus exercise. (Which is totally new for me by the way.) Week two my weight (and hormones) fluctuated, I got frustrated, I ate everything in sight and quit exercising. I still tracked my food every day though. It’s so easy with the barcode scanner and the HUGE food database that even when I felt like giving up, the app helped me stick with it enough to get back on track when I was ready. I’m budgeting my calories and exercising again now, and I’ve earned a bunch of achievements in the app which is surprisingly motivating. Some of my favorite features: -Weekly meal plans with grocery lists. -Barcode scanner -pattern trackers (for example, the app noticed that I do better staying within my calorie budget when I eat moderate amounts of butter and cheese! Who knew!) -nutrition label scanner for creating new foods (I was amazed that this actually works! A few items were off because the scanner thought g for gram was the number 9, but it’s much easier than entering every single value manually) -recipe maker (i can share with friends too, so my husband and I don’t both have to do it) -macro tracker (found out i eat too many carbs. Oops. Good thing the app has tips on how to increase protein intake!) -adjustable weight and nutrition goals -the app links to my Apple Watch so that my workouts automatically sync ...basically i just love everything. I was skeptical that all the features would work, but they really do! And the app design is intuitive enough that I use features that I never even thought I would. I can’t say enough good things about this app I really love it. 5 stars for Premium.

    I am liking the new version of this app. I tried it last year but it did not have a lot of the features it now has which you can go to Brands and/or restaurants &search for foods. It’s a great idea to log your meals, snacks and exercises to get fit and lose weight. That’s the goal!!! To lose weight. Statistic to show if you log it you will lose it. I gave it four stars because you can’t log the water intake unless you pay for the premium. I’m not sure if I’m ready to commit for $30 a year for premium. They should offer a month-to-month basis as well as the annual

    I’ve tried all the calorie counting apps. This one is significantly better than them all. If you’re *serious* about losing or maintaining weight, pay the $30 yearly subscription. Trust me. I used the free version for a while. Once I ponied up, I began to learn so much more about where my nutrients were coming from. And it wasn’t information overload. And that enabled me to make better food choices. I lost 9 pounds in the first week just from reducing (not eliminating!) a few items that were killing me, like sauces/condiments. I’m sure that rate of weight loss will slow down—9 pounds in a week is a LOT. Probably a lot of water and sodium weight. Regardless, I’m on the path now. And I’m smarter than I ever was before about what I put in my body. The app will give you insights into foods that slow down your progress as well as keep you on the right track. For example, I now know that if I eat a certain amount of carbs/fat/protein for breakfast, I’m more likely to stay under my caloric goal for that day. If I skip breakfast, which I used to do often and thought it helped me by skipping those calories, I end up consuming far more calories throughout the day and busting my daily caloric goal. I didn’t realize I was doing this until I got the paid version of this app. Plus, paying for something will make you more accountable and encourage you to see it through to your goal. It’s $30. It works. Period.

    It keeps me accountable. I am losing weight faster than I thought I would. I never ever use my “buyback” calories, though.
