  • Not useful for me

I was hoping the macros would be more comprehensive. They aren’t. The fasting timer is not user friendly for those who want to roll outside of the standard. I don’t think it’s worth a subscription and I regret buying one.

Been using this app for over 7 years. I input a lot of the foods I eat on the regular by just adding it to Breakfast Macros with the barcode scanner. Wish there was a way to input this better & even edit macros across the board so I can reuse scanned items to either meal or even edit for a certain item that is already on the app but incorrect. Also would love to share with friends and family who use the apps especially when we are eating the same foods. Otherwise pretty user friendly & visually appealing! I also would love if the app would reboot my macros for calories burned whether through the Lifesum app or separate phone app. Was this already a thing? Might’ve been a different app that I had tried out. Anyhow! Thanks so much for a great product!

i love the app , but i find it really dumb how you have to pay to be able to adjust your calorie intake ??
  • To many bugs

This app is great when it works well but being that it has unpredictable bugs, I would recommend choosing a competitor; if you require a app for motivation and encouragement. Biggest problem is that the software will delete your previous logs by duplicating your new logs. As a result, you have no idea the measurement of goals do you consumed. And this has been going on for an entire year. Going to reach out to apple to cancel current membership and get back pro rated amount.
  • Only 1 thing I don’t like

I like everything about the app except for one thing that’s a major turn off for me. It only offers ounces or grams for certain portion sizes. The. I have to look up conversion bc I measure most of my food in cups, tbsp, tsp amounts.

they should make it so you're able to choose a specific amount of water you've drank instead of just 8oz. like if i drank something 5 oz it should let me add just 5 oz. - otherwise app is nice & i love the aesthetic
  • Nutritional info inaccurate

This is a pretty good calorie counting app. I like it better than Lose it app because I feel that it’s easier to sync steps and exercise into the daily calorie budget. I only wish there were an option in Lifesum to manually edit the nutritional information for food. Food that I search for in Lifesum database often has different calorie amounts listed than what is on the actual food package. In the Lose it app I can manually edit the information to match the package, but you can only report incorrect info to Lifesum which doesn’t seem to do anything. Other than that I really like this app.
  • Disappointing

Too many of the food items have the wrong nutritional information on them and the sizes tend to be nonsensical (like every option in a Starbucks coffee being fractions of an ounce)

It's a visually pleasing app. I like that it approaches things a bit differently, too. However, the free version pales in comparison to my fitness pal, simply because in lifesum you have to pay to record your own recipes. For that reason, i think I will switch to my fitness pal
