Very Little Nightmares+

It was fun to play.

Anyone with an appetite for the disturbing and uncomfortable ala Edward Gorey will appreciate this game. Add in some challenging puzzles and we’ve got a winner. Great stuff to be had here, and I loved it all except for the occasional puzzles that relied heavily upon fast reflexes vs creative thinking. I prefer my puzzles to require thought not fast thumbs. For the most part, this is one of the best AA games, and even though there are a few places that require quick action, the gruesome art is well worth pursuing the challenge anyway.

Will play again

I was really enjoying this game, until I reached level 13. I have died more than two dozen times, because if you are a millisecond off from tapping the hatch you die. When I finally beat the level, the game froze and restarted me at the same spot, and not onto the next level. I read on Reddit that this might be a glitch with the game, but if that’s the case then it needs to be fixed because this is extremely frustrating and really making the game unenjoyable.

Amazing 10 out of 10 so fun would play 100,000,000times again

Playing on 13” iPad but there’s a scaling issue or some kind of blur filter making it hard to focus eyes on many art elements, like a prism halo around objects or some simulated tilt-shift… I wish this could be toggled off, but there are zero graphics options.

I love LN this is very challenging but it’s really fun to play and spooky also

and I quite enjoyed it. Did well, too, for a 70-something grandmother! More, please!

*WARNING!SOME MAJOR SPOILERS IN REVEIW!!!* I love the Little Nightmares saga, with it’s villains, shocking endings, and the Nomes!Especially, Mono and Six, whom I adore!!Sure, in both games, 1 and 2, both characters turn into the villains they originally defeated, which, surprised me!Even though I felt very sad after.In this game, I could never had guessed that Six was the girl WITHOUT the raincoat, and that she tried to help The Girl in a Yellow Raincoat(who you are supposed to assume is Six)and failed.It was a sad ending.But at least one of the girls, Six, was able to escape. I love the creepy atmosphere, with lovable characters, and I am THRILLED to play the 3rd.I even bought the expansions for both 1 and 2!I felt a strong connection with every kid character you play as:Six, Mono, The Runaway Kid, and The Girl in a Yellow Raincoat.(But I mostly love Six and Mono.) I have even made few theories about this twisted, mysterious world.One is that Six was The Girl in a Yellow Raincoat’s twin sister, which is why they tried VERY hard to protect each other. Another theory I have has to do with why Six dropped Mono at the end of the game. Was their whole adventure and bond nothing to her? After some digging, I believe that, the SIX WHO DROPPED MONO WASN’T REALLY SIX. If you get the secret ending, you see Six, all alone, standing next to a hologram version of herself, called Shadow Six.It disappears, and probably rejoins her body, or fades away.And this scene hints that this is where she gets her hunger, and why she decided to go to the Maw.But what does this have to do with her not really being Six?Well when the Thin Man stole her and put her in the tv, Six split into two.The one that dropped Mono was a Six with no heart, and she only had “evil/survival emotions”. She was like a body with no soul, whose only desire is to survive.But the hologram Six, or Shadow Six, is the GOOD Six WITH emotions, who cared about Mono. So if Six was whole, and had her good emotions, she wouldn’t have dropped Mono. She would have saved him, and the two would reunite, a family trying to survive in the Nowhere.Now did Six reunite with her “whole/good self” in the secret ending, in time for Little Nightmares 1?I hope so.If she did, she probably realizes what she had done to Mono, and fell into despair.AND—if Six was her whole good self, saved Mono, and the two stayed together, Six would never had needed to go to the Maw to satiate her hunger.And she would never turn into the next Lady at the end of Little Nightmares.And Mono wouldn’t have become the Thin Man. But anyway, I digress. What I’m trying to say, is that I absolutely ADORE this series.I LOVED every game this series has made, I’m a proud Sino fan(Six x Mono), and I even saw those free comics on AppStore. I gotten ALL the achievements in Very Little Nightmares, but not in all the other games…yet!I will really miss Mono and Six, knowing that they had made a malicious transformation, and probably won’t show up in another game again.AND, I STILL CAN’T WAIT for the third game!!
