  • iPhone app bugging

    The programming is decent as usual but I used to be able to minimize the video and put my phone in sleep mode and still be able to hear the movie while I’m working. Now it just closes it out. Most other apps allow me to do that like Paramount, Hulu and Disney +. If they have removed this feature, I may dump Max.

  • Does not work if you have ads

    Instead of calling it the Christmas collection of movies they’re calling it the “it’s that time of year”. Demonizing Christmas and making it all pc is another big reason why you lost!! I will be cancelling my subscription now and will just be purchasing entire seasons of South Park.

  • Constantly buggy

    Always plays ads over the show as it’s still running. Ends up muting the show audio while it still runs subtitles on a frozen snapshot of the show. Then runs through the timer in the ads as that, and then still runs the ads normally after the timer ends. Over and over each time there’s an ad needed.

  • Generally okay, frustrating problems when casting

    I have a constant issue that causes problems around the house. If I cast Max to a TV from my phone, it will change the volume of the TV to some insane value. I just woke up my entire home in the middle of the night because I cast from Max and it set my TV volume to 92. Please for my family's sake fix this problem. I can set the volume myself, I don't need max making that decision for me

  • Ads bug

    There is a bug that freezes the stream yet the subtitles are still going along as if it were still playing while the ad “plays.” Sometime later the ad starts playing, double the time for the ad. So when I try and go back to where the ad interrupted and the same thing occurs or it is fine, super annoying. Close the app and restart, same problem.

  • Broken Ads

    I can’t watch my series, because everything there is an ad it freezes. So now I have to play this game of rewinding, forwarding, closing and reopening this app. Paramount and Hulu don’t have this problem. Or maybe i’ll just pirate the shows and movies, it’s easier to stream it there anyway.
