  • Doesn’t keep my accounts linked

    I use to pay for MAX and never had an issue. I then found out my mobile play through AT&T comes with MAX included. I cancelled my out of pocket plan and linked my AT&T account with it. At first it failed and said I don’t have the subscription. I kept trying to link it and it kept failing. I found a weird way to get the account page to throw an error and then for some reason after the error goes away my account links up fine. Biggest problem is is that I have to go through that every other day I open the app. If I don’t open it for 24 hours I get the message saying I need to resubscribe again. It’s not worth the hassle to use it frequently. Does this both on my iPhone with all the latest iOS updates as well as my second gen AppleTV 4k. It has been over a year. My account still only stays active for about 24 hours before saying my account has expired and I have to link it again through my provider. There is nothing anyone can do for me. Literally the worst streaming experience I have ever had, and I set people up with streaming services as part of my career.

  • Frozen frame with subtitles still going

    This is my first time having the Max app and I absolutely love this platform, but as a review said before anytime it comes time for an advertisement or commercial, not only does the app not always go to the commercial, but it freezes the frame, but despite it being a “commercial“ the subtitles are still going as if the show is still playing, and I can’t seem to understand why that does that. I have switched between two different iPhones deleted the app. Download it again. Turn off my phone. Turn it back on. I’ve done so much and I can’t seem to figure out why that is doing it so as a previous review before said, I like the app, but if I’m going to be paying for this app plus commercials and freezing within the app it’s not worth it.

    I love Max.. It has a lot of my favorites like Boondocks and Robot Chicken etc .. even the tv shows from my childhood and they have all episodes and seasons for most unlike a lot of other apps

  • Offline Downloads Work Terribly

    I paid extra so that I could have more downloads when I’m away from Internet access. For whatever reason, the off-line downloads lag a lot. It takes so long for the videos to pop up. The UI is way slower than it is when you’re connected to the Internet. That doesn’t make sense. It should be way faster. Sometimes I have to wait more than 60 seconds for the videos to pop up. The downloads also expire in a very short time period. And they take an enormous amount of time to try to renew download. I don’t understand why these apps are so slow.

    I enjoy the content I’ve found on Max, but the app regularly fails to advance to the next episode or, occasionally it does, and starts at the next episode’s credits. It’s both bizarre and frustrating.
