    Wipr 1 used to work great for me. 2, not so much. I still see a lot of ads and some sites are broken. You can’t see or modify the block lists so you’re dependent on the developer keeping them up-to-date. Sadly, I can’t recommend this any longer.

    So far v2 is way better than v1. To the point that made me sincerely surprised. Great job, thank you! The only downside is that is not compatible with any MacOs that is older than Sonoma. This does hurt me since there are two machines around me that run High Sierra and Monterey. No way to use it on them unfortunately. Aside from that the app is not only great but in fact exceeded my expectations. Kudos to devs!

    I hardly write app reviews and I really will never pay for an app. However this came across my suggested and I noticed an immediate change and I’m very impressed. You can browse through all of your typical sites and if anything tries to take you to another site, “wipr” immediately takes you out and takes you back to your original site. This is a blessing within an app, and the developer has been so generous to make the app very user friendly and simple. Posted throughout the app are help links and any other information the developer felt would be helpful to the users. Overall I’d give this app a 10/5 if I could but it gets a 5/5 due to the limit of star ratings. Very worth your one time payment

    It’s like ublock origin for iphones! At least the next best thing.

    Brave browser by default blocks more than this extension. Orion browser blocks more than Safari with this extension as well. Wipr2 extension doesn’t block any hidden on-click pop up ads. These are the true invasive ads on the Internet that uBlock Origin blocks. It’s sad I had to spend $4.99 to realize this.

    I've been using multiple ad blockers over the years, but after just a few minutes I'd say this is the best I've ever used. And for the developer, I suggest adding "ad blocker" to the end of the title so it's easier to find when searching.

    I’ve avoided Safari as my primary browser due to its lack of uBlock Origin support. However, Wiper 2 has changed that. It’s simple to install, doesn’t slow browsing, and has a great ad block rating. For its price, it’s a steal.
