I’d pay for a subscription but I’m not paying for points to pay for chapters. This is the exact reason people pirate manga. I don’t pirate manga because I like the ease of using an app and having all of my stuff in a spot. Look at the Shonen jump and viz apps. I was excited to download and now I’m disappointed to see that they’re part of the problem

Solid app. Once you stop having free chapters the pricing is ridiculous. 60¢ to 99¢ for a chapter? Crazy.

Been getting the same error message when I open the app about age verification. Latest update needs to be reverted pronto!

Uses predatory tactics to make people spend more money than they should on manga. If they charged a monthly fee for unlimited access like Viz I would happily pay for it but this model they have is stupid and greedy.

Get rid of the both of them, make this a subscription service, and this would be a 5 star app. Great selection of manga at least.

If you want a chapter that costs “points” be prepared to spend a lot fairly quickly. 2 dollars on this app will get you 3 chapters. 3 dollars in the shonen jump app gets you 100 chapters a day for a month. This is not worth it and I’d rather just get a physical copy of what I’m reading, it’d probably be cheaper.

I got this app to keep up with Nina the Starry Bride, but they actually have a lot of other great stories too! It’s pretty easy to navigate and see how the system works to use fast. I also think it’s easier than other manga apps when finding stories you like grouped by genre instead of just popularity.
